I've been with the show since its inception. Hands down probably the best Volume of the series. The imposter syndrome and depression Ruby battled with this volume, I'm continuing to go through the same battle myself. It saved me back then and the message of Ruby herself was enough, really was perfect. Its what others and myself needed to hear. This is why RWBY is such a fantastic and important show. Monty and CRWBY really changed the world, all the people that found purpose, passion, drive because of their work will go on to do a great many things. I wish that one day I could make something that changes the life of at least one person, just as mine had been. the place they arrived at is Vacuo and all 4 kingdoms ships and even Amity Arena was there. Meaning Ruby's message really moved the people of Remnant and just an FYI. V10 is not greenlit yet. views, comments, positive ratings are needed on multiple platforms to prove to the company and crunchyroll that the show should countinue.

This volume was great the story the music was perfect the ending implies that team Rwby and Jaune will end up in a time jump most likely a year or two . A lot of people online was a bit disappointed that Ruby didn’t get any upgrades from her weapon or new clothes after her ascension or how jaune lost his upgrades in his armour after regaining his youth .

Something I don't see talked about enough is the moment when Ruby's got gun-sized Crescent Rose up in the Cat's face and does that little smirk. I want to cheer every time I see it.

Technically Jaune being old wasn't Alyx's fault, but I'm glad she restored his youth anyway.

This volume made me emotional. I feel like this was a happy ending for everyone including Neo. I also how after little ascended the modeled themselves after Ruby 😊

Ruby's fighting have been slow and heavy for quiet a few volumes now, only her semblance was fast, so seing the fighting speed of the starting volumes back, was truly awesome.

The conviction ruby fought with at the end was what I’ve been wanting to see for so long also I think little called her a huntress because that is now her purpose in the world

Yahoooo finale! Had a damn fun time following along with these reactions, it's great how much you pick up on and how you have both kneejerk responses and nuanced takes, it's a very fun watch-along. And yeah the cat's final scene for sure does feel like Envy huh? Like others have said they're in Vacuo, you can see Amity as well as Atlas airships (and ones from Mistral, I think) above the desert, so there's been a timeskip since the end of volume 8 but we don't know how long it is.

I will never understand people who hate this finale, this volume, etc. This was honestly THE best volume with a satisfactory ending and an amazingly beautiful narrative about imposter syndrome, the feeling of not being enough, and suicide. I desperately needed this back in high school tbh, because it's a positive message. I'm really glad it's out there, that it exists. God bless RWBY, and God bless CRWBY. The Curious Cat was genuinely cursed....design flaw on the part of the Brothers.....the Curious Cat could enable other Afterans to ascend but never could ascend themselves....and so it could never purge the hurt feelings of betrayal and anger and other negative emotions....it couldn't get the Tree Therapy it needed. The Brothers could've probably fixed the Cat, but they've wandered off to do other stuff....they're like neglectful absentee land owners & developers.....they love to create and innovate but they don't like doing repairs and upkeep....jerks!

I loved this volume so much. I cant believe this era ended already, I loved this volume though because even tho everyone went through so much, we got to see more of team rwby and even better now. AND OMFG IN VOLUME 10 NEW OUTFITSSSS edit: AND IM SO HAPPY THAT THEY USED RED LIKE ROSES AND THIS WILL BE THE DAY.
