If the vietnamese government want to take Cambodia, then they didn't need to withdraw troops in 1989. Vietnamese people don't want the government to take over any country because It's against the international laws. Please do not spread the khmer nationalist fear that will never happen. Vietnam cannot afford another round of sanctions and embargo by the international community. I lived through the darkest period of being under sanctions by the international community before I migrated to the USA. Most vietnamese people were poor and lacking food during that time. However, the ambitious and expansionist China would love to take Cambodia and she can afford the sanctions given by the international community. Cambodia is already a vassal state of china and also has a chinese prime minister named Hun Manet running the country (mother is chinese, father is part chinese), so it's a matter of time for it to become another province of china with higher chance.

@@thameas4169I am here to respond to all those who spread hate and fear against the vietnamese people. I can't stop people talking about vietnam. I won't respond to those who talks about economy, politics and friendship between cambodia and vietnam as neighbors and brothers and etc... But khmer nationalists like to spread fear and hate so I have to respond to them. I respect cambodians who are nice to vietnamese and the rest of people around the world.
