I speak English because I grew up in the US, like many other children of immigrants. Maybe some of them would also like to explore Mexico and reconnect with their roots. But if another English-speaker watching this video that does not have Mexican heritage also wants to experience what Mexico has to offer, I’d welcome them to. Don’t you think people should appreciate Mexico beyond Cancun and Cabos?

México has a lot of inequality so there are still very many places that resemble “slums” or neglected neighborhoods that are falling apart all over Mexico. But on the other hand it is a developing country and many cities are just as beautiful and modern as many parts of the US.

@@EatBailaTravel yeah, but the thing here is that Hollywood has ALWAYS highlighted the bad areas that we all know not only Mexico but also many countries have. However, the USA has never portrayed the USA as it truly is. Walk through DOWNTOWN Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Detroit and you’ll see what’s been hidden for decades and Hollywood disguises as not as bad when it truly looks VERY UGLY. Very few movies of rural USA and rural Americans when there’s tons of rural neglected towns all accross the USA no one talks about it. Tell me that I’ve driven all across the nation and seen all those tiny town under precarious conditions where they don’t even have a super market or pavemented roads. They do exist in all states of the USA. Unlike the USA, Mexico is not ashamed of its rural zones, nor its rural people. Quite the opposite “Pueblos Mágicos” is a proyect that is turning all rural towns into magical destinations that every time are attracting more and more tourists. Just saying, the whole world has witnessed how honest each country has been with his good and bad areas. But trust me, after leaving 10 years in the USA and living in 6 states and visited 22 of the 50 states I have seen it all.
