He does that like he has been performing on stage all his life. What a great guy. He's a firefighter. He's good looking. He reacted very well to the joke being played on him. AND he's a great singer. He seems to have it all. Good luck to you, Andy. His wife and his father are both in tears. How awesome is that. I sure hope he got a recording contract out of this performance.
I've been a performing musician for 70 yrs, I've also been a session man ,hundreds of times, theatres clubs radio Tv, cruises around the world-with major stars...and can honestly say I would choose his version , sung with genuine sincerity & honest emotion, and equally if not better than any I've heard. Well done Andy !! *****
If you have been performing for over 70 years It’s assumed that even if you started your career as a child of 10 you are now 80 years old. With all due respect, I’m guessing your hearing and vision aren’t what they once were. Having said that I respectfully disagree with your statement. It is false.
You obviously do not understand English, The word 'false' is not applicable in this context..I respectfully suggest that those who make errors in 'making assumptions' , should not then make a statement/s, based on their assumptions. Quite irrational.!!@@JustinTyme33
I was a prodigy, starting fiddle @ 5yrs old, (2nd WW was still going) & the falsity if it can be called that, I made a mistake, I have actually been playing for 80 years.
Wow, how awesome was that? I'm glad I wasn't the only one in tears, this was so emotional, his performance and knowing how that must have felt for him. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This heart wrenching song is from Les Miserables, the musical about the poverty and distress during "The French revolution". The character who sings this song, is a man, about to go out into the fighting & warfare in the streets, to save the young man who his adoptive ward daughter has formed an attachment with, and plan to marry, if the starvation and conflict, don't claim their young lives first. His ward lost her mother in illness and tragic life circumstances. Thank you fireman, you melted my heart, and I was crying tears of pain, for the sorrows suffered by those people, tears of joy for the love demonstrated by the brave man in the story, and tears of delight in your magnificent voice. Thank you Michael McIntyre Big Show, Michael and all the actors and crew, top show! I loved it. God bless you all brothers & sisters around the world. Pure raw talent, he should be signing a recording contract and be on stage permanently!! What a voice, he’s the best I’ve seen on this show!!! Watching his Dad brought me to tears.

Amazing the hidden talents of everyday people, one would never know without your opportunities offered to them...This man is Amazing!! Beautiful, heart melted for him and his proud family!
There is only two words that comes to mind......... "BRILLIANTLY DONE !"🤗🤗🤗 I've sung that song many times and taught it to other singers and have heard it sung many times INCLUDING ON BROADWAY.... I have NEVER heard it done the way he did it.....FANTASTIC....!!!! BLOWN AWAY !!!! I hope that he might think about sharing his musical talents with the world one day soon. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 💖STANDING/CHEERING💖
So very beautiful. I was crying along with his family. So wonderful that you gave him this chance , Michael. He's such an amazing talented. He sings with such heart. Beautiful voice. Love his vibrato.
Ny god this man is fabulous. Ive seen many of these and they were great but this is sublime. You need to take him to the public as a recording artist incredible.
The stage presence is outstanding! The entire performance is just spectacular. Seems like he's been singing all his life. A talent that's utterly stellar. No one can deny the fact that aside from serving the community, this man has a huge passion for singing. Wanna see him perform somewhere else as well. Sign him up!
I wept in awe of your beautiful voice. I wept for the story that you told with that voice. I thank Michael McIntyre for giving you the opportunity to sing for us all. 💖💖💖
Michael, you are God's gift to the world, to all of us. Always remember that. The Fireman was incredible! Tears streaming down my face! Thanks Michael for bringing this to all the world!
The sheer beauty and passion in this man’s voice...what a great rendition of a beautiful song that always reminds me of my father. Tears flowing freely here.
In the words of his dad “blown away” ...What a stunning performance. Tears smiles and more tears watching him and his beautiful family. What a talented man.
Oh god I am so moved that was lovely when they showed his dad in tears by his sons performance I sobbed, how wonderful. Micheal Macintyre he makes you laugh he makes you cry.Thank you Brilliant !!!!
Thank you Michael. My brother Greg passed away four weeks, two days ago at only 65. This is comforting. He had great faith so I’m sure God would ‘bring him home, bring him joy, he is young’ ❤️
Fireman Andy Quinn is AMAZING!! Any song from Les Miserable is good, and when sung by someone filled with talent, it becomes phenomenal. Andy needs to try out for BGT or The Voice because he has talent that everyone should hear!!!
Yeah, I'm just saying that his voice is so good and he is so good at singing, that he should have a career in singing. I think the same thing when I watch talent on talent shows "why aren't they already making records? They're so talented" I suppose maybe he performs when off duty, he just enjoys saving lives
@@samchivers6129 , ya, some people may feel more fulfilled with some things than others. I never understood why so many people put their whole lives into one thing. I would find that boring and not very fulfilling, but that's just me.
This was so beautiful I was in tears. His voice was beyond sublime and the passion and emotion tore at my heart strings. He could easily perform in the West End and match every other performer there.
I rarely cry, but I did when I heard and saw Andy sing. And the joy of his family really touched my heart. I hope his debut in this show will start a career for him! 🍀🎼🍀 ... P.S. And apparently it did kick off a career as I just learned from an earlier comment here. Well done, Andy! 🎼🎼🎼🍀
Well, sadly, I am just seeing this for the first time. My goodness what an amazing and beautiful voice this young man has. That is what is called pure and real talent. I hope this opportunity has opened doors for him!!! Absolutely loved this!!!
Oh my goodness...this is probably my favourite performance on this show so far. What a totally lovely young man and his beautiful young wife! I was overwhelmed by his performane... wishing this family God's richest blessing💥💪😇
Hi Michael I just want to say wow it’s so amazing what you do for other people like that and big big fan me and my mum watch you all the time here in Aus and are both huge fans. Thanks a lot for the laughs.!!!!!
Cor! They're usually good but Andy's voice is outstanding. What a polished performance too, the guy's a natural. They seem like such a lovely family and watching his dad bursting with pride almost made me cry!
Love! Love! Love! Thank you for sharing your talent Andy, you are gifted with a beautiful strong voice with pure emotion on the rendition!!! For the duration of your song, you transported me to Broadway away from all the chaos looming in the world today. And great thanks to Michael for being such a wonderful human being! The whole production is so well done.! God bless you & all your staff. Best of luck, Andy. You’re blessed with a great gift and a warm family!🌺🌼🌸🌿🪴❤️🌴🌼🌱🪴😇👼❤️ (Edited for grammar ☺️)
This is so wholesome. Love it. I'm sure he loves his job as a fireman and he is making a difference, but if he wanted to sing, I'm sure he would make it.
