You lied in your video because DeepSwap and Akool ARE NOT FREE, one can't even make a deepfake for free because one have to pay for it. It is annoying to see a video that lies in its information.

I tried Akool, their 3 day/60 second trial... it didn't change the face at all, there goes $1 for no reason at all :) The swapface version, while not great... was ok and may give better results, depending on video and image supplied... but only time will tell...

Nice video, but we did some research and Deep Swap has a TERRIBLE reputation...one complaint after another, the majority dealing with payment problems and ripoffs (I'm just the discord messenger)....and then some were quality/functionality issues. We ourselves could not upload an 8 second file, that was supposed to be one of their supported formats. Thought it seemed too good to be true...we'll just have to watch Disney's FRAN software through the knothole in. the fence.

Are there any faceswaps that allow you to animate a image that is not human. For example a Pixar style cartoon bear 🐻image? I know D-ID is good but that only detects human faces…not animals
At 2.02 you show the photo of four photos titled Original-Swapface-Deepswap and Akool, and you say its a pretty good result. Maybe its just me, but I cant notice the difference in any of the photos! Are you saying the original is a different face from the others? Same in 4.16, absolutely no different from the original??!!!???

works okay but I would avoid using it until it is more polished. If you plan on using it on celebrities just forget it. I tried with one and it said no.
Tried this. Apps not as fast as it shows in reality. Takes several minutes to complete processing of even a very a short video. Not instant like in the video. Also didnt work. Tried Akool several times and just showed a broken image after processing.
I've tried Akool several times over the last month. I paid the $30 because this RU-vid video looked convincing. All videos I've tried just hang for hours when uploading. There is almost no network traffic coming from the browser. I checked my firewall and antivirus, its not blocking any connections. I tried many video file types over various lengths. All of which can upload to RU-vid. I tried videos that come with windows. I even had a road trip already planned before this. I tried it in two other states on multiple other computers. One video uploaded once, and it didn't detect any faces. The problem is not on my end. I can't find any reviews for Akool on any site, even the ones that report scam sites. The free for now SwapFace detected two faces in that one video Akool didn't detect any.

Great presentation. For those who intend to download this software be aware that it can NOT be used to change faces in mp4 video's. It requires you to install software that accesses your camera such that it can swap faces live in a camera stream. Goodness knows if this camera software might also spy on you.... Great pity!!
