The game looks great! But people seem to think it's THE best game because you can drive cars. But what ? The rest of the game, the atmosphere, the character design isn't very appealing in my opinion. It's generic and wants to do TOO many things at once :/

Its kinda refreshing to see an anime game of different style. The openworld isekai has became quite a trend lately,so I'm expecting this to be unique from the rest.

The amount of people who have been brainwashed by 4 years of hoyoverse games in terms of features and Limits in GachaGames is concerning. Wallrunning, anti-gravity, cars, raytracing, dlss is not rly anything new for anybody that has looked up ToF in the past 18 months But i guess being excited about hoyo adding trampolines into the open world and increasing load limit in teapot by 7 after 3years, while shitting on "ToF Devs" because people who played the game for 12 days in 2021 do, is the way to go for strong independent gamers
ToF also had actual mounts, actual flying and you could grapple onto anything. You didn't need a special grappling point. People shit on ToF but no other open world gacha game has beaten it in movement exploration. There were even mounts for gliding on water.
No active players in tof is surprised cause we've seen most of this stuff in later patches while doom posters are still fixated on tof 1.0 patches...hotta always cooked

I noticed that the attack effects is still the same garbage one from ToF, I hate how it looks so much. Ultra cheap particle effects. And this is for all attacks, so disappointing.
Game looks sick love the vibe I def think there are some animations/visuals that needed a smidge of polish but its early so that will hopefully get touched up, I'm more worried about the combat though because it seemed wholly underwhelming and with both WuWa and ZZZ out now I don't think I can start something with weaker fight mechanics.

Ain’t no way we got the open world version of ZZZ, honestly why would I play zzz only for the vibes when this honestly looks better imo. Although its combat definitely looked the weakest out of all its reveals.
The character in the thumbnail made me think this was just another VEEEEtuber reacting to NTE, but then I noticed it’s Pokke’s channel. lol Now I get why Pokke said this character looks like a certain French VEEEEEEtuber.
copy game and make it within 1 years is really hard to do, especially with how polish current game state is. prob hotta already have the idea even before project mugen release, but its happen that mugen release the teaser first and almost has the same idea and concept.
@@arzurianrein4612 nah, honestly we’re overestimating how long it takes for games to develop, even if they take really long, it’s not that impossible to make the trailer and animation before the concept of the game is even realised, and I feel like for gacha games, games that make money by selling characters, it’s especially realistic to think the trailer revealing the characters to the public and generating waves is the base model of the game… rn imma be perfectly honest, when I hear “new gacha game” I immediately think characters, music, and quality. I don’t even give a shi about gameplay and story anymore because I know it’s just going to be an inferior copy of already existing gacha games that people will get attached to and cope because they already spent money or love a particular character… all of that to say gacha games are predatory, and them thinking about how to market and sell the characters even before the concept of the game is made might be more true than we think

I know, maybe game can be created faster, but within those month to created a game that already in this state with a gamplay too, its already impressive tbh. And its already look decent. Idk man, idk if they copy the idea or not. Also having the same idea in entertainment industry doesnt look that strange tbh.
the major mistake Genshin "clones" made is trying to compete against Genshin in the same exact Genre Genshin is in. ToF failed immediately for many people due to its lack of polish and in the end borked multiplayer part of it. Wuwa imo, sailed from its instanced fighting gameplay style, literally just putting overworld exploration in their years upon build expertise, it catches on, but IMO many of its Genshin traces like how slow daily are and story telling make me burn out of it quick. ZZZ actually managed to make things interesting for me for a bit simply from its world, music and atmosphere, but really, on quick assessment ZZZ 1.0 feels pretty shallow for how big the game consume memory in my phone and pc. not sure how Azur promilia will fare with theri pet and management system, but again, they go in their fantasy genre first. this game tho, they just simply change genre and copied more of GTA than Zelda. and IMO they are in a better path on the get go than ToF, way better. not sure why that instanced dungeon need to be that flashy, feels like that's not a real dungeon but just an instance where they literally show every tricks they can bring, ie Dynamic environment. Genshin can never do this, they need to reload every time something change in the real world, yes HSR do similar things but they are instanced game and not open world. aint it? combining the two games into one is a great idea. hopefully they didnt literally exhausted every animation trick on that dungeon tho XD

This company makes the best cities. Until now, Mirroria in ToF is still my favourite city design. Some animations needs a little polishing and its all good (like plunging and car physics etc). Not sure about open world monsters though. From this teaser it seems like you could just randomly get thrown into the "other side", thats only when enemies appear? Knowing the reputation of the company, I just hope they don't find a way to screw this up. What will it be? Heavy powercreep? Rip-off prices for cosmetics and premium cars? 99% Female playable characters? Exploration movement speed locked behind premium characters? (Refer to Rubilia in ToF) I hope they will avoid these and I'll be fine. But honestly, the city can be too big and confusing for its own good. After a while the distance could feel like a desert with nothing in it. If the cars cant be fully GTA where you can make NPCs FLY, or have cops trying to waste you, then the car concept could potentially be a burden. Teleport points are always the best, and cars theoretically have way higher mobility than characters running, the cars just seems to be a bad solution to a created problem (city being too big and empty, and requiring a car to move around just for the sake of it). Anyway, this seems to be the best upcoming game to me. Looking forward to whatever is coming out for this game in September!
10:25 It's not as bad if the people making the game owns more than 2 brain cells. All you have to do is group elements together and render them as one - little hard to explain. But what happens is your GPU only renders it once into memory and the rest of the frames has a reference point that is easy to render because most of the work is done. There is a lot of tricks you can do with a open world game where it's smoke and mirrors because the player can't see everything at the same time. This will make your game pop off with frames. That being said. You will most likely need a lot of RAM for a game like this. So i am guessing the minimum will be 12-16GB RAM.

I know right!! That game had so much squandered potential. The story was SO BAD. like shockingly bad storytelling, and then they turned the game into pac man and make progression locked behind collecting orbs. And not just some orbs I’m talking thousands

Bailu Two is kinda cute, but I feel like the world took ZZZ, Wuwa, HSR and Genshin models and smashed them all into a GTA city that looks just a little like it doesn't fit the style of the characters. Feels a little cheap. Also seems like they're trying to please too many people with the various gameplay elements like the car garage and everything else. ZZZ has that problem a little, but this game is taking it to the extreme. At least that's my initial impression. They will have to make some insane progress and show some awesome stuff to hook me. Also the fanservice sucks in these games. It has to be said.
i love when these big company of gacha games actually compete now instead of giving half baked things (still need to wait till a game is released to judge).... still not sure wheter or not there will be gacha in the game if the game is revolve around cars, properties, etc (maybe we can do a heist to rob a bank?? ghost busting to get money like in the trailer?? we dont know yet). maybe there will be gacha but not for characters? or the monetization is centered around the currency, like gta. so much question... i wonder where is project mugen for the past years..... did they fumble?

I'm a bit worried. It's promising a hell of a lot for a gacha game. I'm so scared that it won't deliver. The graphics are incredible, but I'm worried about the possibility of the majority of the budget going there and neglecting more important stuff, or the final result looking a lot worse than advertised, or something else. It just feels too good to be true.
The character models look good, but the animations are meh. The combat also looks fine but isn't blowing me away. Ever since WuWa and ZZZ dropped, a lot of these other games just seem so stiff
The character designs look fairly similar to the Mihoyo games, which I have no problem with (good designs), but that gentleman with the staff is literally re-skined Welt 😂
Project Mugen has been real silent. Hopefully this will get them to release an update of sorts, but i guess Netease will probably be pushing them for it after watching this 😂
