This game had Marcus Thorell’s help in designing it. I read the credits and found his name. He was on the SSO live stream being interviewed and he helped create SSO. So it makes sense why they are so similar. Markus Thorell is my ideal. Barbie horse adventures riding camp was the first horse game I ever ever EVER played, and here I am full circle playing SSO that he also was a part of. I love both games dearly and still play them. I played riding camp just a couple of weeks ago. Can you tell I am fan girling here? Hahahaha I love this game. It’s very close to my heart.
Marcus Thorell was a game designer and engineer for both Barbie Horse Adventure, and Starshine Legacy. So they both look similar because they had similar people working on them :)
one thing i recommend for you to do is that try to stay "awake" as long as possible. around 8pm (or idk when) when the sun sets, you get a phone call to take you home, and a new day begins. the challenge is that you try to run around without accidentally pressing m, and picking up the phone :D i loved this game as a kid, had waaay to much fun with it
I agree that this is JUST like Star Stable, it even has the "You almost fell but made a great recovery!" message if you clip through steep hills! Sky, water and ambient noises and the whole gameplay is similar. I'm a big Star Stable and Starshine fan so I'm pretty thrilled about this game too, I gotta buy it myself. 😊
I had this game when I was little and for some strange reason the CD came with an error and I couldn't play the game beyond halfway, I will finally know how this game ends and I can die in peace. Thank you
Wow that opening scene is very different on pc than it is for the wii. I have this game and have only played it on the wii, it was my first horse related video game I had gotten. I remember it was at Costco, I still have it though I think it be interesting and somewhat easier to play it on a pc thank the wii. I pretty sure the jorvikipedia (star stable fanwiki) page said this game was more than likely made by the same company that made the original star stable games based off the sound effects, graphics, and models used.
