A big part of why it looks so slow is that the release window for attacks is very big. This is because the parry window is also large, to accommodate people from different regions playing with each other. This is gonna be changed later on at some point. Also an animation issue. Fortunately they’re gonna remake every animation with mocap.

dev said that bows are gonna be completely reworked, right now focus is on the survival game loop, another combat phase coming soon

same with projectile speed like some can see it coming and move out of the way like you have to amnush them or they have to be running a straight line

I get what you mean, but I think it's 100% easier to compete because it's a sword fighting game. You can beat better players with way less experience - whereas in games like Rust you just get beamed 300m out.

@@mateyz98 yeah its not only just experience with combat and gameplay its also just game knowledge, we saw it with new world, people played the hell out of the beta learned were everything was and the best routes to take and when the game came out within a week everyone was already max level and crying there wasn't anything to do in the game. Diablo 4 was another bad one, there were already sites showing meta builds and guides on how to level well before the game cam out.
