Do you see a big difference in clearfield vs. peredovik? I am about to plant and havnt decided on which type yet.

As far as the head size, I think the average Clearfield is bigger than the perdovic. Clearfields also give you more herbicide options if you’re looking for grass and weed control, which is important for a dove field. Search my channel for Clearfield versus Perdovic.

@@AJHartFishing I totally get it. I guess the alternative thought is with only 5 acres (like I have) you want to maximize seed production and weed control to attract the most birds. They are not cheap, that's for sure

Great! I had to get the corn in the ground this past weekend. Stars did not align to do both corn and sunflowers same day with the drill. Sunflowers will be May 11th. Touch late, is what it is

@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors l eas planning for may 11th and 12th but the extended forecast for rain made me plant a little earlier since I already had the ground ready.

@@redbeardsaga724 We actually need some soil moisture, so hoping it holds! Looks like rain here Sat and Sun so I am glad the corn is in and the sunflowers are soon after

@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors my fear was that I would get rain and it would delay me planting due to having to wait and work the ground again before planting. I had it ready with forecast rain in the next day or 2 so I just went on with it lol.
