That corn and mowing is going to be awesome. Cool point find too. I've never heard of that beetle that cut the head off of sunflowers. Perhaps that blue coating has something to it at keeping them away. great info as always. Thanks.
My field is absolutely loaded with doves. Burned my millet this past weekend, brush hogged two strips down the sunflowers last week. Made a video about an hour ago of 100 or so doves on my line. Can't wait for next Friday.
We’ve always had good luck using a bush hog on corn. We like to adjust the bush hog so that the back is way higher than the side closest to the tractor. Back down on the corn and go slow. It causes the corn to slowly go into the bush hog and a blade smacking the cob. Looks good
That's great to hear! Yes, I knew you were in the western part of NC somewhere, didnt know exactly where. I used to work with Chris (letsdig18) and John Guin's years ago and saw Chris was building you a pond. Good stuff man, hope you shoot them up! Stay in touch, let me know how you do.
This is more work but pick all the corn and on the bush hog there’s a hole on the top where you change the blades drop the corn in it and it busts the corn to pieces it’s a must do
