When it comes to streaming and esports bans, we’ve seen some pretty crazy cases over the years.
Tyler1, FaZe Jarvis and iBuyPower come to mind.
But in this latest case, not only did a competitor get permanently banned from his esport -- he got permanently banned from playing any game the developer publishes.
And that developer just happens to be EA.

@@Nicko-NB Since when is that a legitimitet reason. I don't play fifa but I know for a fact that EA are worthless on progress when it comes to sequals. Since 2kgames stopped making NHL games EA's versions have declined. If you played NHL 20 you would think it was a joke. They totally ignore the community and just change the menu every year, add one useless game mode no one likes and removes good features from previous years. If they just could stop being greedy money wh*res and just release one game in every sport and just update it frequently every month and a major update every year like for example Riot do with LoL or Valve does with their games I genunily think they would do alot better in the long run.

EA went too far, Kurt has every right to call a game trash... I mean look at the star wars battlefront series, it's in-game purchase after purchase just to live a few minutes more and @Nicko - NB is still wrong. EA has continuously screwed with other games that had the potential to be good(ie, star wars battlefront) it's the exactly the same like epic games buying psyonix for rocket league it was a horrid idea. Hopefully the various communities set EA on fire with it's excessive amount of microtransactions and poor game development.

He deserved to be banned. No matter the game or developers of the game he would be banned by anybody for being that volatile and that toxic in the community. You can make an argument that he only deserved to be banned from fifa specifically but I think it's justified overall

@@KiotheCloud at tournaments players are allowed to use any card in the game, I’d say the pay to win aspect comes from being able to qualify at all for these tournaments but they do have pro restrictions on your ultimate team that you can use to qualify for the tournaments

@Micheal Prendergast He's not "standing up" against them, he's launching personal attacks on company employees, and they are well in their right to ban him from their services for that. If he proceeded to give his critique in a civilized way, EA might still have been pissed, but they wouldn't have banned him. Try doing this shit to a company in the "offline world", and see how fast they "ban" you from their premises. I haven't bought a FIFA myself since FIFA 16 because they suck, but I just get over it and play something else instead of actively shitting on a company because they put out a product they don't like. @@ege8240 there are rules, called ToS and you need to read them in order to install said game as well as verifying that you've read them and agreed to them. You skipping it due to laziness doesn't make the rules go away. If you don't like the game, don't buy it. Buying it will result into supporting the companies current decision. If you don't buy it, because you don't like it, they won't do money out of it. If you don't even talk a word about it, you don't promote it to others, it'll lately fade out of existence because it's that bad that nobody even talks about it. There's a reason why the saying is "even bad publicity is good publicity".

I mean, I think anyone bitching about EA and their practices probably are totally valid in their criticisms. That being said, leave the employees alone. The devs, community manager, tournament people, all of them. If I owned a company and somebody who was ostensibly representing my product started talking about how one of my employees was a “waste of sperm” that dude would get his ass tossed so fast it’d make your head spin. He had really solid point tbh, there were some lines he shouldn't have crossed so willfully, but EA is just throwing a hissy fit. EA is taking criticism and twisting it to sound like abuse, which is the worst way they could've take it. Not like being banned from playing EA games is a bad thing anyway, at least he'll be able to play enjoyable games now.

Seriously, EA has no respect for their games or players. I think the most severe case showcasing this might be Sims 4: a game with a massive amount of bugs for which EA has released 8 expansion packs, but most of the bugs that have existed since the release (2015) are still there...

Oh I don't know. He used to love the game like any person would. FIFA 10-15 was the best of FIFA but, each year continuing 16-20 it got progresively worse to the point FIFA 20 is already a dead game because of their scumbag way of running the game and this affects people like kurt who used to love the game and now they are making critcism about the game like a rational normal person would towards a game that has a problem like any problems in the world.

North Gaming Kurt has been in war with EA since at least FIFA18 and he got banned almost the entire season of FIFA19 so he couldn’t qualify for the FIFA eWC because he did a review of FIFA19 where he said that FIFA19 will be the worst FIFA ever (like we later discovered was true) and instead of doing work on the game they banned him instead. After they banned him indefinitely from all competitive play late last year everything escalated pretty quickly 😂

What is wrong with calling a game trash and people incompetent ? EA was ABUSIVE from this perspective. However Kurt clearly was a disturbance during tournaments, so his ban from this perspective is justified. If I go to club and always cause disturbances, it's only natural I get banned from it.
