My thing was the back ground art. At first glance without thinking about it, it's not note worthy...unless you pay it attention. Then you steadily realize that it's actually nothing identifiable. Just a bunch of vague shapes and colors that almost represent something you can identify. It unsettles the crap out of me and I don't know if I love it or hate it.

I'm not spon-ed lol I just think it's cool, since I'm pretty sure it's an AI mixing images to approximate what something would look like, and at a glance, it does, but as you pointed out, it's wonky when you look closer. Super rad how the game dev implemented it here, and it fits well with the vibes of the game and character

I think that John Doe should be some sort of supernatural being, I'm not sure what type, but he's not completely human. He spends alot of time in the shadows and lurks around in different places, being only an onlooker to human life. However, when he finds "You", he notices something different about them/us that he hasn't seen in other people before. He notices that himself and "You" have some common interests, like blood drinking or something to do with meat (since I read somewhere that John Doe is a bit of a cannibal) ... And in a desperate attempt to finally have some company, he decides to stay close to you, and learn more about you and what he could do to try and win your affection. I think it would be fun if John Doe had some sort of shape-shifting ability. Maybe the John Doe we're seeing is a form that he's taken on to try and fit in with our world, and the real John Doe looks entirely different. I do like the idea of "You" being weird and not realising it, though. That sounds pretty cool, sorry this was a bit of a read😅

funny that that's the case, I wanted to write a story about getting warnings in a dream about someone in a very scary bizarre way, but then at work you find a person that vaguely looks like the thing you keep seeing in your dreams (exactly the same hair color or shoes for example) but that person seems normal and nice, unrealated and uninterested in you. and then when the story progresses the barrier between the dreams and the real person become more and more blurred and they start to show signs of concern etc.
