First recorded by Herb Alpert in the 60's. Later released on B.J. Thomas' 1969 album Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head. Paul Carrack is a great musician.
This girl is in love with you Paul,by the way I named my first born son Paul, who is now 26 yrs old and in need of a kidney transplant, for the second time ,my faith in God and the apostle Paul to heal him .Paul,
Este vídeo é maravilhoso. O Paul Carrack é o ponto alto, mas há outras interpretações lindas das composições Bacharach/David. Foi gravado no Royal Albert Hall.
This is my first time seeing the video of this (i had heard on cd). this could be an example of just hearing is better. But remember Paul C (who i admire), is 99.9% of time playing (whether it's piano/ keys/ organ/guitar) while singing. Note: He's also a killer Song-writer.. And Paul admires Burt & Hal if not he would not have done this.
I love this song.....but Paul Carrack has a the perfect voice to sing this song. It moves me. Burt Bacharach is perfect but Paul Carrack....was meant for this song.
Excellent. Respectful arrangement and interpretation make for a real tribute. Pet concern: singer comes across as too cool for someone supposedly in such distress and so fragile. Will pay closer attention. I like what I listened.
Paul did a great job. But this tribute to one of the greatest songwriting team is a shame! And a specially when you hear the orchestration. So many times the played the wrong notes! And the line up is very low. However, Paul did a great job and is one of the best voices! But there are a few.....pfff, terrible!!
