It's not "behind someone's back" when they pass on an item and then somebody else buys it. it's called business. If Rick wanted it so much, he could have forked over the money for it. But he passed and the guitar sold to somebody else.
I’m Rick Harrison and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my son, Big Hoss, and in 23 years I’ve learned one thing. You never know what is gonna come through that door.
I mean I guess but they still need to make money which you can’t make money buy buying it for the same price and selling it at the same price but there was definitely some times they did rip them off
They kinda deserve it tbh, they always lowball people and half ass the prices and then pick and choose problems with the items, and then sell them for triple.
People keep saying they scam their customers, but I never once saw them force anyone to accept the amount they offered for an item, and many times they decided not to sell.
Nobody=> are you hiring? Rick=> yes we are hiring. Nobody=> can i get $17.25 per hour? Rick=> let me call my buddy and get some opinion. “Moment later” Rick=> the best i can offer $7.12 per hour
It's just business .....I think about that all the time of how much they rip people off..... but hey if we were in their shoes we want to make money to
