The song "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton, which Allie performs so powerfully and substantially, so expressively and sensitively, so passionately and empathetically, is a song about grief, hope and renewal. Clapton wrote the song after the death of his young son. In the first two verses, Clapton expresses his pain and fear, while the bridge suggests that time can make the pain of loss more bearable. The third stanza gives hope, as Clapton imagines that after death there is a world without tears and pain. Finally, in the fourth verse, Clapton wonders if his son would recognise him in heaven and if so, if he would be "the same" as before. Ultimately, the song is about accepting the pain of loss and at the same time finding hope by reconnecting with the deceased.

Agree we all know she can belt out the big tunes with the best, but I think she can bring it down a bit further and softer for the more ballad type tunes and blow us away again.

@@seanpadgett3053 Maybe she should stop singing songs like” I see red”, “the winner takes it all” which sound a bit like yelling . Don’t get me wrong, I love Allie’s singing, and always will but I think she might need a singing coach to improve this particular aspect of her performance.

This is the best song I've ever heard Allie sing. She keeps her voice under control without the more Primal aspect of her voice that comes out that can be shrill and discordant which I appreciate but this is much better.
