Technically speaking the Unggoy aren't harmless but at the same time they are pretty peaceful and quite democratic. It was the Covenant empire to have pushed them to become more "aggressive" we can say. But apart from that, the Unggoy are quite a good race to get along with. Especially considering that they have some specific talents, like being expert linguists for example. It was them to have translated english for the Covenant. And they was also the first ones in the Covenant to have learned english.

This proved their entire religion wrong and threatened their political integrity as the entire covenant is a religios alliance. Don't why people hate the 343 grunt look I think they look badass especially with the nose tube which I thought was a refreshing way to see them breath methane rather than the usual gas mask.

I'm not as hard on 343 as others, but I absolutely unequivocally cannot stand by the art direction they took in 4/5. Everything looks like actual shit. Thankfully, they've rectified that and then some with games like Halo Wars 2 and Infinite. But jesus christ, it was looking rough there for the last ten years or so.

This is the first time I find out that grunts are literally tortoises, they have the skin of a tortoise and the “protective state” of one (cowering in their shell)
I remember during a mission while you were heading towards an entrance where they were guarding ,they would sometimes just be sleeping and I think snooring too haha.
