Funny story Colter grew up in Swift Current, Sask where I'm from. He's the son of Brad Wall who used to be our premiere and yes that is his actual voice! Sounds the same live, very deep haha.

I am just now discovering Colter Wall, because I told my daughter’s boyfriend that country music hasn’t been good since the 90’s and he said I disagree, check out Colter Wall, he’s authentic country, and he was correct. I’m in love with this voice now! He has an extremely old soul, and I don’t think this is the first time his soul has been on the planet!

Everybody pauses frequently when reacting, or trying to understand a song. No worries there. You don’t hear many artists writing murder ballads these days. Sub genre of ballads but describes events of a murder, what led up to it.

Colter will be 26 in June. He hit my top 10 last year with Happy Reunion, and is now top 10 with a Marty Robbins song call Big Iron. His next single is Cowpoke in the tradition of Gene Autry. He represents the classic country music sound unlike the fake country music that is out on country radio today.
