I was wondering why The Hoof GP sounded so different and why this video was so calm and peaceful then I realized this is a completely different channel XD
okay but the KNIFE SKILLS! That was a fresh abscess and the hoof had hardly started to separate and you still managed to clear out everything with hardly a drop of blood!! (And of course we always appreciate seeing adorable snippets of farm-life as well<3) Well done!
That calf is so cute. I am always amazed at how developed they are born. Even if I know logically why they have evolved that way, it's still staggering for a city girl to see how "ready to go" they are 😁.
Nate, I love how you did not rush that cow as she was getting in the trailer. You kept your distance and let her pick her way. Just the right amount of pressure. Thanks for being so considerate.
That's the freshest baby I've ever seen! Congrats to the momma cow on a safe, healthy delivery. And the trimming, as usual, was great too, thank you Nate.
I watch several hoof trimming channels now and I love how they all have their differences. I really like that we can hear the background noise on the other channels, but here I love how much you educate. All channels educate, but you give closeups etc which I find fascinating
Thank you for being an educator and for your detailed descriptions of your work, your gentleness and kindness to the cows, and your care for us who are watching (by adding footage of other animals, showing your gear, and by giving us enough time to see, hear, and take in the whole experience). Really appreciate you Nate!
Out of all the hoof trimmers I watch....you're the most delicate and precise of them all. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making the cow as comfortable as possible. It's nice seeing someone care so much about an animal's well being.
