this HUGE HIDDEN PROBLEM is completely UNFIXABLE 😔 

Not to belittle what you said - cuz doing honorable things in this evil world , is honorable. But for the sake of telling the truth - School teaches us to be slaves and to enslave our fellow man, as if it was natural and good. So that noone in school ever sees themselves as being caretakers of nature . Which is what we were designed, built, and originally programmed to do. A man who chooses to make a life of caring for gods critters and the earth, are good men. But unfortunately, even the folks who are caretakers of nature, are slaves to whoever pays their hire/ pays them money, , and whoever they pay and or hire is their slave. Noone is free to just care for themselves, their neighbors, and the earth. So even though our profession may be honorable, its tainted by money and the slave bosses. The govs are the crime boss slave lords, who enslaved the world, and who are also slaves themselves. Slaves owned and operated by the evil devil satans/ rebel accusers led by the big ACantichrist lucifer. In school, noone can see themselves as being anything other than a slave to the govs and whoever hires us - we arnt allowed to see ourselves caring for the earth nor the creations within. Because school is designed to hide our true nature from us, and turn us into oblivious slaves to the devil/ rebellion through the civy lies nations and religions. But there is a whole nother 3rd option that they leave off of the table and hide. BUT NOT FOR MUCH LONGER! Our father creator through Yahshua the real christ (our co creator), are fixin to set matters straight.

My sister told me to watch the Hoof GP, and I really wasn't interested. I finally did watch and am now a regular follower, still catching up on the older posts. Graeme and Craigie Boy are so good to the animals. They also show that farmers are truly concerned about their livestock. 🙂🐄🐃🐂❤

If you ever come across a group of cattle again, please don't do this. Their benign mood can turn in a second, even farmers have been badly injured or killed by their own herd. They are especially skittish when they have young or if an unfamiliar dog is involved. Enjoy your HGP walks but please look after yourself.

There were about a dozen or so and I think they ended up there because the farmer had been around the gate a few minutes earlier - had seen him in the distance as I was walking. They looked relatively young and had stroked a few on the head. Waited a few minutes, opened the gate and got through and went sideways, so only a few needed to move to let me through - perhaps 8 feet and I was clear. I spent the first year and a half living on a dairy farm as a kid when my family moved to this country and have been around cows many times on numerous walks that I’ve done over the years. It’s funny how RU-vid came to bring these videos up.

It's likely going to impact their hips over a long period of time but as most treatments it's a trade off for making the foot better. However just like wearing one shoe with a platform the cow would learn to compensate for the height difference in it's walk

@@GalaxyRangerNiko There's no bone infection - but the bone has added to itself, so to speak. It's not enlarged, not swollen, it's more like when bone becomes gnarly and overgrown with really bad arthritis. If the pedal and coffin bones were infected he would be talking about osteomyelitis. That's a really serious problem - much MUCH more serious than what she has. She does have an infection of the tissue growth between the two claws (the tyloma) - that's what he sprayed with the antibiotic green stuff.

The cows really do become family . Especially dairy cows .. Big Station Cattle don't see as much attention by humans .. Cows do love company..

Was this cow treated by a vet for this infection as you stated this infection has been ongoing for a long time? It would be great if you would inform us? How do you feel about farmers who let their cattle’s issue progress to this degree?

I'm not Graham but I may be able to awsner some of your questions. 1. Amputation is something that does happen to cows but generally in the case of irreversible infection in the claw, it has a big effect on the animals, is quite painful and is really a last resort. It would also be done by a vet not Graham as it is a big procedure. 2. The block is generally a temporary solution to take weight of the bad claw, Graham has used it differently here, but I'd imagine it would still be temporary and no risk of arthritis. 3. Again the block is a temporary solution that falls off after some time so I wouldn't say the cow would feel much effect from this.

It usually depends on how productive the cow is and if they can get another calf out of her. If not, then it's a nasty, scary end for her, sadly.

I don't think any of us really know how we got here but we all stay! I think the kindness GP shows every single cow is soothing to watch and gives us all hope and feel goods. This is probably my favorite channel 💕

I would imagine that because he’s trimmed and balanced the good claw, the block won’t cause any pressure as much as it will spread the weight, so doing the job it was intended to do.

he's mentioned in some older videos that yes, that is an issue. since the blocks are a temporary measure, a hoof that's already healthy wont be too bruised in this time frame, though I believe it would cause further issues if the block had to be on longer (reoccurring injury etc). what happens when both claws are bad is he uses a horeshoe-type block on the less probelamitc claw and the curved shape keeps the pressure off the worst of the injury. however there was one video when he had no other choice than to put the block on a bad claw and hope that the other claw healed in time for the next visit when he'd swap the bock over. (cant remember which video though)
