The Tapajos Hermit is a rare hummingbird and until now no video of it existed on the internet. We are proud to present the very first video footage of the Tapajos Hermit taken at the world-renowned Cristalino Jungle Lodge. We even filmed this hummingbird feeding on flowers. The Cristalino is located in the Southern Amazon of Brazil where 600 species of birds can be found, so it is a birder’s paradise. In addition to our hummingbird, we saw the elusive Umbrellabird and many other birds.
