Rainfall rates of 2 to 4 inch per hour adds up quick. At one point Harvey had 7 inch per hour rain rates as it stalled out.

@@POWPonderonWeather I am always informed thanks to you and Ryan Hall, appreciate it very much. Though regarding Storms that have hit Illinois there have been a quite a few where the both of you have been wrong, but only account of the Lake Michigan Effect. Which can be hard to predict what the outcome and effect will be on Storms.
