Trm bringing back the Skullcandy rumble. Buying it just for the idea. We feel 20 Hz and below more than hear it, makes sense the technology will improve.
It would be a great video to do an in depth roundup off all the haptic iems and see of there is actually something to it or if it just cant currently be done
The TRN Mars has been out for a good while now and I'm honestly surprised I haven't picked them up for gaming yet since that's really their schtick. Be sure to include that in your testing since that's their focus.
Thanks for the vid. I believe haptic-feedback on an IEM will only increase the price. In mobile phone there are ones with premium feel haptic-feedback like in Samsung's high-end mobile phones or cheap feeling haptic-feedback on budget mobile phones, so giving a comfortable level of haptic-feedback on IEM will definitely increase the price quite a bit I suspect.
Is that bass bump in the TRN Mara caused by the haptic? Can you actually listen to a brrrr vibranting sound of it? It’s a sound from the mini motor? Or it just music that goes 20db louder in the 100 to 150 hz
Skullcandy is the Godfather of haptics in headphones. And with their recent crusher models, I must say they even sound good. The crusher anc 2 and crusher evos are kinda well tuned
TRN mars would shake the world one day lol. But it would be loved by the community here because many people who buy those KZ in my country are buying them for playing PUBG and other mobile games.
Without substantial innovation in the field we're just here to help hopefully witness the best of what we have in iem tech right now come down in price and improve in artistic design.
Haptic would make subbass and bass focus genres go extremely hard just due to how much energy is being produced. Not only that, graphing for haptic iem cannot convey the amount of raw power that bass can produce.
Mars ain't it but TRN has some good IEMs out. ST7, Orca, Conch are all solid budget options. MT4 Pro is not bad as well but it's kinda behind other stuff in it's price bracket.
razer used to make over the ear headphones that made low bass shake the ear cups, not sure if they called it haptic. if i find it, i'll post a name. thanks timmy.
I am kind of dependent on your reviews... I need your opinion about KZ Castor Harman Edition and Improved version... and a comparison among 7Hz Zero 2 and Tangzu Wenner. Please do consider my request and make a review video over KZ Castor.... Please Please Please.....
Can someone point me to a good 2 pin iem cable with a mic that I can use with my xbox controller. I had one by tripowin but it was causing an echo for others in my party
