Honestly, my favorite part is the entire video. Paramount, Disney, HBO, Hollywood, etc. can put put out 10-15 episodes every year or two for tens of millions of dollars and I’d rather watch videos of real life adventures like this with real people doing real things than anything else! Love your videos, thank you and I hope you can keep them coming!

Wow, incredibly beautiful! Oh, I have been caught in a flash flood in the desert once. We weren't expecting rain, either. We had to hike through two miles of flooded terrain that turned to mud instantly. Each and every step we took had 5 lbs of mud! It was brutal.

If that is a radiator cap on your shower water heater, look at the label; it should be marked at some pressure, typically 15 PSI or so. You hear it venting because you put a higher pressure in the tube, and it is releasing the excess. Good video! You go into wonderful places, that I will never get to myself, and I really appreciate your sharing the adventure. Looking forward to the next adventure.

So I'm in the process of converting my suv into a camping setup as well, this is the lifestyle that I want as I near my 30's. And it's crazy to think that watching this video gives me total anxiety, HOWEVER being able to push myself to go do these things makes me excited. I hate living in Florida because I don't get much of this unless I travel bit but I need my vehicle prepared. Dude. Thank you, you've been a huge encouragement for me.

Hey Zed! I use a 2002 Envoy. It can be done. My experience is I took shake down camping trips locally, N. GA TN, Caralinas,, basically the SE. I travel the SW the last few falls and wintered near Yuma/Imperial long term. Massive area. The shakedown were crucial. With SUV we have way more options where we can camp. And when weather sucks I sleep in Envoy. That's 95% wind issue. I adopted and changes so much after I got to use gear.locally. Even now I adapt. Have more then one stove and fuel. Everything man made will fail. Anyways...I tend to get juiced sharing this Joy....

We hiked in Bull Valley Gorge maybe 20 years ago. There was not snow but it was very muddy in the bottom, sink to your knee kind of mud. As I recall we walked downstream from the bridge, down into the canyon, the upstream to the bridge. I think you and Michael Kelsey might be on a level above the normal hiker. If I make an athletic event out of it I can sometimes come close to his times, but he is notorious for being very fast and getting over obstacles that turn back the normal experienced hiker. It's common for radiator caps to be limited to about 16 psi. If your tank is full of water there isn't much room for pressurized air and as you use the water the pressure will drop quickly. If the tank is maybe half full of water then you have more room for pressurized water and it would maintain pressure against the water longer.

Another beautiful exploration. One more for the bucket list. The cave was very cool. I imagine that reflected light from the massive cave entry makes its way to the greenery to keep them going. The fact that the city strip is visible is extra cool. Might have to get into one of the tall buildings in Vegas & search for the cave vis telescope, for kicks. Regarding the slot canyon, it is equally impressive that besides the logs/trees, there are some impressively large boulders hanging on overhead in a few areas as well. And, Good Lord, that last boulder was as big as a house!!

Ooh, that slot canyon looked like it had teeth and was ready to chew you up and spit you out! And ah, yes, MIcheal Kelsey. We have four of his books. Amazing resource to lots of off the beaten path hikes. But be prepared to go rugged and be able to route find. Not for beginners. Great rewards if you go out there with a sense of exploring and adventure. Just listen to your "little voice" and bail out when it feels uncomfortable. Great vid as always!

I can appreciate a videographers desire for that smooth stable shot. And I understand that if we're watching this you clearly made it out and home again "in one piece". As a viewer though I often like the unsteady pov shots, whether on the head or chest or in hand, because it's relieving to know that you aren't climbing the dangerous parts twice. I would have trouble hiking that one time and you are doing it almost twice to get those amazing shots. Kudos. They are amazing shots. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not knockin' a thing. Your shots are awesome!

I first learned of the idea of “rv’ing in my Suby about 4 yrs ago from you, and it is finally happening! It was a ROUGH start from Arkansas going through Oklahoma and Texas….wind has been horrific, so much so that I stayed twice at a motel. Your comments re the gruesome deaths next to the bridge reminds me of one visit to Antelope Slot Canyon near Page in Arizona. I'm an oldtimer Englishman who took a friend down this famous slot canyon mid September 2003.We paid an extortionate fee being on Navajo lands. A plaque at the entrance stated that eleven people died down there on 12 August 1997 in a flash flood. Two were never found. A beautiful canyon but a shadow was still hanging over the place.

Omg, dude, you made me really nervous for you at first! I was thinking, "What? He's going down into that thing??!!" 😯 So happy you found what you were after and made it out safely! 😃

Another awesome video as usual. That slot canyon looks sweet! I definitely want to check it out!

Thanks, I enjoyed the video. I have been through Spooky, Peek a Boo, a little bit of Buckskin and I tried to make it to Harris once but feel a little short of the canyon. I love that area.

We have a solar shower in a bag. My husband built a small pallet to stand on, so our feet don't get muddy. Great video. Nancy

I have a couple of the solar bag showers too. They work fine, but I haven't found anything that I love yet. Thanks for watching!

The two story canyon was cool! Something I’ve never seen.

When you said "book" and "slot canyon", my mind immediately went to Aron Ralston's "Between a Rock and Hard Place". I thought you were going to where he got stuck! Be careful out there! "Geologic time includes now!"
