in this video chad and I take out the homemade Walmart 125cc Lifan motor-bike! this thing flys! I hit 50mph and can go pretty darn fast off-road too! there was a few issues ith the jackshaft from the motor but I quickly welded it back together and was on the road in no time with the motorcycle.

I have a 4stroke moped with a 50cc engine and put a125 dirt bike in it(a 139fmb motor with a 22 mm mikuni carburetor homemade air filter) and i have ton change a few things like the CDI limit speed controler and the ignition those parts are coming soon maybe i will beat you're 50miles per hour (i'm french so sorry for my english)

I got a 66cc engine on my Giant mountain bike with a 36t sprocket and it tops out around 44mph. 30-35 feels more practical on a bike tho.

My Kymco Agility 125cc goes 60mph and has the frame brakes and tires to handle the weight and speeds. Plus it carry's 2 people with ease and has tons of gear under seat and in a lockable trunk and cost me $600 off craigslist with 1500 miles. The quality is much better that Lifan and Walmart and its street legal.

You are braver than me. I have seen those made in China Walmart specials break welds when just riding them like the were designed to be ridden. Dumped 2 dirt bikes going well over 50 in my younger days. One was on gravel, and the other was on asphalt mixed road. On the gravel one, spent a couple hours in the ER having gravel picked out of my arms and legs, no fun.

Thanks for the concern, the original frame is mostly gone and replaced with that 1/4" center tubing, But yeah i don't normally do 50 !

Great build..a nice suspension now, and you'd have it all on a bike. There used to be 28inch Western Flyer bikes with leading link suspension, keep an eye out in the yards for one maybe. Glad you make good welds for those speeds!

I dig it! I appreciate the thinking behind this one a lot. You ever see any of the BMX Supercubs? They are some of my favorite builds of all- Fuel tank inside the top tube.... Honda Super Cub engine, Fork, and a few other bits, on a slightly enlarged, but totally BMX type frame.... Putcha gas in the frame brotha! :) Yours is damn sweet, anyway! :)

YES!!! As I thought, this one would be my favorite build. So small yet so fast. It looks a lot like an old Honda Trail CT90, but without suspension. I couldn't tell what it's full capabilities were in the first video, but now I'm highly considering getting that engine for my next build too. It's actually designed for vehicle use so it'll pass up any industrial engine any day. Again, great work and thanks for sharing!

Absolutely flawless build dude! Love the stance, how everything's proportioned, the seat, the tires, spotless. The only thing I'd say, if you want to go a bit faster, try out a 160 or 170 pit bike engine. I know those little 125s can run out of puff and start falling flat when you really get on the throttle. Also, hats off for using the kick start like how everyone should lol

Worst thing about that is you have bicycle brakes, those brakes are designed for a bike that normally wouldn't go more than about 15 mph, so totally inadequate and dangerous at any speed above that. They are probably OK for lower speeds off road.

Edward Piner engine was probably $150 with all the accessories. And the original fat-tire this is based off was about $120. So I’d say slightly less than $300 bucks americano!

I have a build video of how I put the sprocket on, no spokes were not harmed lol. it's a hub mount, in-conjunction with the original gear cassette!

@Swampy sounds like my Honda Express lol Flat ground with my 170lb ass it'll do around 40-45 if leaned out. Up hill around 20, steep hills 10. Around 32mph is my average speed but unfortunately the rear wheel needs trued and they don't sell an aftermarket wheel that isn't a bicycle spoke style so it's parked atm Im literally to big for the poor thing 😭
