Always use the clutch pack. The belt is ok for the final drive. If you would have just added a gear to the pedal set and run a chain from ur chainsaw clutch. A spinning wheel so close to the family jewelry is not a great idea. You have a welder redue that top frame rail.
Are you saying to keep the pedals? I’d have to do some crazy gearing bc the drive sprocket is so large. If I kept the pedals then I’d need a one-way ratchet or bearing setup to avoid the pedals spinning at the same time as the engine
I really like shorter to the point videos but I’m sure there are folks who like the extras. Great build. Maybe add a two belt system and make it two speed easier of the line and then cruise speed
You bought an electric scooter and built a gas power motorcycle this is stupid but I like that kind of stupid so I'm looking for your channel now. OMG you got a lot of stupid in your channel.
Great job! It's old so therefore it's safe with an exposed starting ring. 😁 If you can determine the displacement modern small engines run about 30 cc per horsepower. I can't speak for older stuff, but it could potentially be more cc per horsepower.
its not street legal yet but I'm using a vin from an old Kawasaki bike, once his one is complete. This is a guess but the engine is late 60's early 70's!
This is the first video of your that I've watched. How have I never come across your stuff? I'm heavy RU-vid consumer. it looks like we are into similar things. I subbed to keep following the bike build. Good video. You might snag up a little safety gear but to each his own my man.
I love this, it looks great, moves nicely and i want one for my self! tankbag fits really nice and you didn't even mention how nice the throttle arm/cable design came out. if i can be constructive tho, that kawa tank will crack, can't think of any production bike with a solid mounted tank, and that ones been designed for cushy rubbers to hold it.
@@OliverMotorized everywhere, the cups at the front fit onto a kinda rubber mushroom on a bike frame, on the back of tank, similar deal but it more like a block of rubber, nothing special in the rubber department, maybe 20mm think
Mr. Oliver, 1st, thanks for serving in the military with honor! 2nd, congrats on the missus, I must have missed that detail somehow. 3rd, your builds get better & more refined. The good equipment you invested in really adds to the higher quality of the builds. Thanks for sharing Bro.. Paul from S. Central Tx..
I really like how you envision things, and then make them fit and work. This came together so well. Thanks Oliver. Would you please include a link to the 'generator' you'll be using? it looks lie something we,as "motorized Bike' people could adapt.
Well. I've got a good lightly used Onan engine. Just that I'm planning on building the same thing with it. Reason I watched your channel. Need to find a motorcycle frame.
