It is our first time in Nairobi, in Kenya, and in Africa! We're so excited to FINALLY be exploring this continent. We will be taking a safari while we're here, but first we want to explore city life in Nairobi!
We start with Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant because this is the closest we've ever been to Ethiopia! Also we are in one of Time Out's coolest neighborhoods in the WORLD! Sticking in the neighborhood, we head to Nairobi Botanical Gardens where we see incredible nature AND Monkeys!!!
Afterward we visit the Maasai Market to buy some local handicrafts.
Next Hero Bar, the 68th best bar in the WORLD according to World's 50 Best, and I believe it! Everything was absolutely delicious!
Nairobi is actually known for its Indian influence, and we explore the Indian neighborhood while visiting Diamond Plaza for delicious Indian food and sweets!
Now we meet up with the rest of the safari group and hit the tourist spots. We visit Carnivore where we eat all the meat we can, trying ostrich, crocodile, and ox balls for the first time!
Then we visit Giraffe Center, a giraffe sanctuary where you can feed giraffes and see Giraffe Manor, the ultimate influencer hotel. (please subscribe so one day we can stay there haha).
What an incredible first taste of life in Kenya! I can't wait to explore more of this beautiful country in the next few videos!!!
