Hey Andy, I actually knew Jeremy back when he was a teenager. Well before he was a guide. He was a friend of my brother and I met him when I lived in AK in the mid 80's.
@@ThisisAfricaTVshow Way! He was about 18 or 19 at the time. He was a very nice guy and at the time, moose season had just opened and my bro was across the inlet hunting with a friend, so Jeremy asked me if I wanted to go out with he and one of his friends opening day just to be nice because he knew how much I liked hunting. I could only walk along with them as I hadn't been up there long enough for a resident license yet. As I said, he was a good friend of my bro's so I saw him quite a bit.
I once priced a brown bear hunt in the peninsula; a 10-day hunt for $24,000... If that's not the biggest crock pot full of bull butter, then I don't know what is.
Awesome hunt, great work! And Andy your so right. As a guide in the states, I always say don't pass up something the first day that you would shoot on the last. I've been on guided hunts too and when the guide tells me to shoot, I shoot! But then again I'm not a trophy Hunter, just out to kill.

Swattin Flies That Are Annoying & That Carry Diasease Is Hardly The Same As Killing Warm Furry Animals. I Was Taught To Only Kill An Animal If Your Going To Eat It. You Guys Are Killin Animals "Just Because You Feel Like It", Or Because Your Getting Money For It.
I lived in the interior for several years, love hunts blacks and griz. I live in NW Montana now so I only hunt blacks for now. A lot of grizz around, just not allowed to hunt them.
A 450 lb lady who lives in Alaska can Hunt Grizz without a Guide,,,by the way, she has NEVER hunted in her LIFE... I'm 61, lived in Alaska 16 years, hunted all my Life. But i have to hire a Guide to Hunt Grizz ??????,,,Does that make any kind of Common Sence to You ???? So its NOT about Safety, its about the DOLLAR,, fallow the MONEY. I'm Lucky my Daughter still lives there, so i can still hunt them,,, BUT the fact remains the same.. Guides, if i get to my spot 4 days before the season and you then fly in and land on me like in 2011,, you will get what he Got,,,,,,,,,,,,
ho and a bear fence is 100% bull shit the only time i had a bear jump on my tent was with a bear fence it makes them mad. if I a 200lbs guy can grab and hold the fence a 1200lbs bear wont even care I will never use 1 again motion lights are much better
