We like to do different things, but overall we like to be on the heavier end with edge, but If I had to pick only one song that represents SAISEIGA I would choose the song JUMBLE. I think it shows these elements of our band the best, the variety and heavier and edgy side - if I had to only choose one song." So, now you definitely have to react to JUMBLE next, if you really want to get a better feel of SAISEIGA! ;D Regan, the vocalist of SAISEIGA, is also IMO the most versatile Japanese female vocalist in the J-Rock/J-Metal scene. In the song JUMBLE she mixes in 2 different growl levels and 3 different singing styles all in one song. That's probably also another reason Katsuki chose this song, talking about the variety of the band. And you mentioned something about wanting to hear a scream? If you want to hear Regan's sky-piercing vocal fry you should also check out their song and music video, "RIDE ON." It's one of SAISEIGA's darker tracks. 🤘🔥 SAISEIGA was founded by Regan and Tohko, vocalist and drummer respectively. Wakkun the guitarist was the first to join them after being introduced to Regan by a mutual friend and Katsuki the bassist finally rounded off the band. Regan is the sole lyricist, writes her vocal lines and comes up with the themes of the songs and their presentation. Wakkun is the primary composer of the music with collaborations from Tohko and Katsuki. I hope I do see you continue more into the SAISEIGA rabbit hole! ;)
They are definitely one of the best bands that started out in the last couple of years and they are still under-known. "JUMBLE" has another great music video and they recently posted a live performance of their song "RIDE ON", which is also a banger 💪
