I told you Regan had more vocal surprises in her arsenal! 🤘😁🤘 Not only can she hit those high notes, she also manages a very warm, rich melody to her voice going lower - if interested, you can see her doing a full song with a low Crooning style in Zettai Club (the band she was in with Tohko before SAISEIGA) with the song named "Mugendai Thriller"; it's in Japanese characters, but if you enter that Romaji title in quotes into the RU-vid search it'll pop up as the first video. Back to SAISEIGA: Yes! That's what I've been saying, this band deserves SO much more notice and attention. They are impressive and do stand out from the pack. I've already talked about Regan's versatile voice and Tohko's underrated drumming in the previous video, but Katsuki's bass contributions to the band should not go overlooked, always providing awesome, funky, Punk Rock-ish meaty grooves to the Metal mix: you can usually catch Katsuki jamming with Tohko in the back in live shows. And Wakkun's understated, but expressive approach with his guitar is fantastic and always adds a different element to each SAISEIGA song. That's another thing I really like about this band is that not only do they each bring great talent to the table, they also bring very different, but complementary personalities to the band; Regan is the most aggressive and commanding on stage - that wide-eyed menacing glare was not just for the purposes of this video lol, see "Go On!" or "SPORTS" live on their Official Channel for live examples of this. I've never really seen a Japanese female vocalist from the J-Metal scene or any scene be so brazenly aggressive with her overall performance and presentation. The closest I've seen before Regan was EYE from Mary's Blood, but Regan would probably give even EYE pause lol! Katsuki the bassist is definitely the pure Rocker of the group, always jamming out and Rocking out on stage, never still - which makes perfect sense since some of his influences were Punk Rock bands - he's 2nd only to Regan in audience interaction and pumping up the crowd. Tohko meanwhile is just ALWAYS out there with a smile, she's just in love with her instrument and with performing the music she loves. She's constant positive, pure, happy energy. Like I said before, her and Katsuki have great jamming chemistry, especially on stage. Wakkun, meanwhile, is the most understated of the bunch, quiet, serious and calm - you'll RARELY catch him losing control of himself or cutting loose physically or facially on stage or even off-stage lol, but while his personality is a very subdued one physically, he expresses HEAPS with his guitar work. Wakkun is actually the primary composer of SAISEIGA on the music side of things, with Tohko and Katsuki collaborating, but each have contributed greatly and equally to the overall sound of SAISEIGA, with REGAN coming up with the thematic concepts, writing the words and the vocal melody of the songs. Regan and Tohko founded SAISEIGA and Wakkun was the first to join them after being introduced to Regan through a mutual friend. I wish I could recommend you to watch some of the band interviews on their Official Channel, but they're all in Japanese with no official English subtitles (just RU-vid CC that's always dodgy), because there was series of videos where 3 members of the band at a time would get together to talk about one member of the band and just try to describe them and give their thoughts about them, before finally having that one member join them towards the end to give his/her say about what the other 3 had to say and when they talked about Wakkun all 3 of Tohko, Katsuki and Regan had some fun and laughs talking about Wakkun, but all in clearly harmless, good humor, which Wakkun came in with a smile when he finally joined them to have his say. There's as much chemistry off-stage with this band as there is on stage, which is always fun to see! I know I suggested a couple of songs already, but before other SAISEIGA fans try to jump on me, you definitely have to also check out "RIDE ON" music video from SAISEIGA, it's a definite must. I'd love for you to also checkout "ILLUSION", a Psychedelic J-Metal track, you heard me correctly. A Psychedelic J-Metal track - with an AWESOME Bass groove - from SAISEIGA, a very talented and versatile band with a clear vision of what they're doing. :)

As a hardcore Band Maid fan and a j-rock/metal far for over a decade, I feel you about being rarely surprised. Saiseiga instantly blew my doors off. They supplanted Aldious an my #2 band. No way they take first but third place is shrinking in Saiseiga's rear view mirror.

I only listen to SAISEIGA recently! REGAN voice is too hot! I like it more and more with every new work! Please also give a look to DOLL PARTS - 愛はベッドにぶら下がっている DOLL PARTS is also a new band from Japan. ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ
