My Pyrenees does that. They just want loved on when they do. She was a sweet dog but I agree you can’t bring stray dogs around all that livestock. I know I have livestock. It’s a huge risk even if they seem friendly. So sad but it’s what you do. Only 2 choices in this situation and you may end up doing what you did years ago. Sad but may have to be done
I'm sure if someone was prepared to drive them to a shelter it would be a better option than killing them. Humans did this to them. The only moral thing to do is help her. She was clearly in need of help.
I would feed her right there at the pond. Then I would put her picture on face book and write that she is a stray. Reach out to neighbors. She's going to go into heat again then you'll have a lot more dogs. Maybe DJ's sister can take her in and care for her. You can help to get her spayed.
There is an SPCA organization. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. SPCA. Someone would drive 200 miles to pick up those dogs rather than have you DOA them. Those people would feed, pet, bathe, love on, and find new homes for them. If you can't find a chapter in your nearest town, someone would come from another town, or even a neighboring state! You aren't without options.
Dan is trying to do the right thing guys. Be kind.. He said 10 years ago he would have DOA them.. He is trying to do what is best for them let's focus on that
The last dog looks like a Breeder, she's old Hot, Hungry and abandoned. The way she acted and the look in her eyes was a cry for HELP ME! DON'T leave her. This could be your test, Don't abandon the needy. God loves you!
I would keep her. Take her to the vet, learn some history on her, work her with the outer section of your home, then u will learn what she will do. Not replacing Bella but the Good Lord put her there for a reason by herself.
I think you should keep her, too. At least until you can find another good home for her. Take her to the vet for a health evaluation, some vaccinations and to see if she’s microchipped. It’s up to you if you want to keep her. She sure seems like a really sweet dog.
She must be hungry. And she seemed sweet. I would love to have her. But I am quite old, disabled, and don't know how much time I have left. She needs a family to love her.
This dog was waiting for you to rescue her. Take her home, give her a bath and take her to the vet. If she's not chipped then keep her; she needs you and your family.

Omgoodnes, I thought the first 3 dogs were cute but the 4th one with the spots almost had me crying. I feel like she had her pups then was dumped and the ones that dumped her kept the pups. Her whole world was turned upside down and then a kind ,friendly stranger with a kind voice gave her some hope. Please Daniel, I know the dogs aren't your responsibility but they are God's creations too,so please follow some of the advices in the comments and help those dogs out. I'll call the spotted one Hope because I could see Hope in her eyes as you were petting and talking to her.
She broke my heart. I think her temperament is to guard livestock. She is so needy for food and attention. She seemed to be whining “ rescue me, I am so alone.” Please make the call to the SPCA. She is so worth saving. God’s blessings

I was shocked he did not save that sweet pup - most inhumane thing I've seen him do so far...that pup was alone & lost & probably hungry and was whining because it was asking for help & he ignored it's cries. Broke my heart to see a human walk away from a crying dog!!
@@wandae9906they cannot save everyone. The inhumane person is the owner if they dumped her. They have enough on their hand trying to make sure all their animals are well cared for. Once you "rescue" one dog, then what do you do with the next that comes byr... and the next, and the next, and on and on? We also have no idea what he ultimately will do about them. They already have one, well trained livestock guardian dog. Bringing new dogs onto the home property could cause a ton of problems and tragedy, with diseases and possible aggressiveness.
Maybe put the dog where the trailer area is located and see where it goes for a few days. Sounds like it was asking for help or it’s hungry. Could give the trailer a little protection.

The female seems hungry, exhausted and confused. I would have contacted the local Veterinary Hospital and find options, being a retired Veterinary Technician myself. Not certain she isn’t injured as well, needs a thorough going over safety and care. Action is better than none for her survival. Daniel, there is an SPCA in Enid, OK and in Tulsa, OK. Maybe you could reach out to them and even if they won't come maybe they know of an Animal Rescue that would. Also, there are numerous Humane Societies that might help. That pup might have been whining due to hunger. She looked pretty thin. The cruelty of people just breaks my heart. And you're right, the risk to your other animals is high although she seemed friendly and may well have been a farm dog. These dogs may have just gotten lost and they can travel miles and miles from home.
If the spotted female was dumped after giving birth she doesn’t need the pound and put in a cage because she is already depressed. A home and live is what she needs ❤️
You may not be able to take 4 dogs... But that little sad pup was alone and she just might be a great addition to your farm and tag along on creek fishing
That might work out great, or Daniel might come out some morning to a bunch of dead or wounded birds, cats and other animals. Hopefully he can find a solution that's best for the dogs, but without knowing their history, bringing any or all of them to his place is completely not an option
You have to help this dog. Take her to the vet. Help find a foster place for her to go to. She might be sick internally from drinking bad water. It's the humane thing to do. Make some phone calls to see what else can be done to help this dog. Leaving dogs alone can turn them into feral dogs which can cause problems for everyone with animals. Feral dogs aren't like coyote or wolves. They don't have the instinctive skills to survive.
Daniel, I don't think I've ever commented on here before, but I felt like I needed to today. It could very well be that God directed that poor dog to you. Her demeanor was so different from the other 3, and she was really reaching out to you for help, and God sees how you treat your other animals and knows you would take care of her too. Those other dogs weren't desperate and could be just running wild in a pack, but this girl did look desperate and looks like she's been through a lot that she's not used to. He can’t take a unknown dog home to a farm. Don’t know what diseases she has. Don’t know if it will attack his animals and most of all Bear would more then likely attack her. That’s his job.

You can tell that dog comes from a domestic environment... she's not a wild dog that has grown up in the woods... he could take her to a vet, get her checked out and try to find her a home if he doesn't want her. For God's Sake! He just came home from the grocery store with a large box of food given to him for FREE to feed his Animals... What a Blessing for the Arms family... he could pay that forward for this girl. I'm sure that he can afford to feed her and take the time to find a home for her. They have lots of room to separate her from their animals.
I am so upset... I don't even understand WHY he would even post a video using HER as his pic to showcase this video! This action has deeply affected me and others on here. Was she used as click bait? I thought the Arms family was a very kind and caring family… this video has changed my opinion greatly! As I kept watching I was waiting.. really thought he would go get her... I even couldn't finish the rest of the video when I realized that he wasn't going to! Left me with a deep concern and bad feelings.
Sadly , we have a throw away society. I'm hoping somebody reaches out to you & rescues them. Sometimes , people suck ! We are seeing this more & more in rural areas. On a brighter note , everything is looking great !
This is happening in cities as well. Ppl are always posting animals they have found and sadly nobody ever claims them. To top it off our shelters are now charging $150 fees for surrendering one animal. There's no wonder why ppl are dumping them instead
We live in bfe, too. We have animals dumped off out here often. We make an appointment with the nearest animal shelter, get the dog to the vet (they’ve been very accommodating with checkups), then take them to the shelter. It’s a bit of a drive, but we haven’t had much luck rehoming all of them, so the shelter will give them more exposure. My son is really good with dogs and works with them until we can get them into the shelter. I really hope someone sees these vids and takes these for you.
I would say start by getting a bag of dry food for the the dogs. Harming the dogs would probably cost you a lot of viewers, ask Lester. Calling the SPCA that another viewer suggested would be a good option.
Try calling your local vet and ask them if they have treated that breed. If so they can contact the family and ask if they are missing .I would show the vet your pics of the dogs too.
I feel so bad for that poor dog. She is lost, lonely, scared, hungry, hot, and thirsty. Your larger cities probably offer a non profit rescue willing to travel. Call someone. Please.
If you are wishing you had added an additional window in the bedroom at the new building, do it now before you go any further. Cut the hole and order a window. Easier now than later. Otherwise, in six months you’ll probably wish you would have.
That dog just seemed so happy to see you. She must miss humans. I’d be tempted to take her to one of your stalls, to see how she does. But of course that would make it harder to take her back out to the pond. I actually did take home 3 big dogs that the owner was bragging about taking them out to the creek bed and shooting them. So then I had 3 plus one at home and 5 cats.. and I never regretted it.
Please take her home, and call someone. At least feed her and try to care for her. Perhaps DeJay's sister can keep her in the mobile home until you can reach someone to help. Our local Walmart gives us items 3 x's a week for our local food pantry. Most of the produce & stuff they give us are good. We appreciate it & so do our food pantry consumers
I got a story about the condition of small town America. Now that there’s been the exodus from the cities and.. not desirable states. I can no longer get produce from my small town grocer. Somebody actually complained and turned in the store! Who woulda thought it’s actually a violation to give the stuff away
You asked so I will say I'm not sure I could have left that dog by the pound. She looked so sad. I would bring her home , take care of her and find her a forever home.

@@susans9617 I understand that it is difficult to Re home large breed dogs. The female had recently had puppies. She is ail ing and moaning. Her next heat may lead to more pups that may survive on the land. While I do not condone euthanasia as he indicated he would have solved the problem 10 years earlier, these animals have been presented to him. With the female in the picture, the possibility of more pups and death will follow. I never researched his area before, and never wanted too. I enjoy his content very much, as well as DeeJay. But a brief scan in Oklahoma indicated several good sources - perhaps they may not be good venues. Either way - there are sources that will help, either through the SPCA or animal rescues. The new female on the land is why I posted. We’ve seen the males a couple times. Not trying to criticize or cause problems. And by the way - Jason and Brooke solved many of their problems with cruel owners. Rocky had a severe problem. They had the room to house the dogs. Jamie and Lester did help the dogs get rehomed. While I know it wasn’t easy, they solved the problem. What we need is less heartless people who leave dogs on OTHER peoples properties because THEY DON’T WANT TO DEAL with the problem they created when they took the puppy originally.
I'm sure you can make some type of pen for the dogs and maybe keep the one girl. you have a huge platform and im sure you could find good homes for them passively with this platform. i cant personally afford to help because im out in southern AZ
Our local Humane Society is turning away many fully grown animals because they are so over full and they are not getting too many people adopting. Also they are having issues with the excessive heat just as everyone else is. They simply don’t have enough room or cash flow to guarantee they can give them all they need. They can usually find homes or foster homes for puppies but grown dogs stay at the shelter. Love ❤️
We had 2 dogs tied to a utility pole on the road leaving out of our neighborhood last week. They were just left there with no food or water. I know times are hard for a lot of people, but this abandonment of animals is just uncalled for. It breaks my heart. I'm one of those crazy ladies driving around with a huge sack of dog food and water. That's all I can do for these poor babies. That sweet girl on your property looked so sad.
There are dog rescues in most areas, please don't just feed them and leave them tied up. Just search on the net for rescues in your area. If you are in Daniel's area, see the google link I provided. Animals are being abandoned all over the damn country by irresponsible people! Poor creatures!
My geese, 3 groups over the years, the ganders were the ones to "puff out their chests" while the ladies stood back. Unless they had a nest or babies of course.
I live out in the country in Oklahoma as well north of AFH approximately 45 mimutes. People are constantly dropping off, and tossing out their animals. Don't buy, breed, or adopt animals if you can't raise, feed them, and take care of them. Stop dropping/dumping animals in rural areas, and driving off leaving them stranded, to die or expect someone else to take care of them. So far, I've had dogs, cats, and a domesticated pig dropped/dumped out here on our property or the dirt road we live on and the animal (s) wonder around lost looking for the person who they thought loved them before they dropped/dumped them. Don't tell me they're organizations that will take these animals. I've called multiple organizations, and no one answered, no one returns calls, if they answer.... their over run by animals, and don't have space or the means to handle more. I've driven miles, and I've even begged for help for dropped/dumped animals. If you feel you can do better then by all means contact Daniel, and take in the animals your self. Daniel, excellent clearing, and cleaning up your property. Yep, get rid of those cedar. We have a couple on the back part of our property. Cedar are such hazards. They do however make posts once all the branches are removed. The shop is coming along nicely. Having the over hang in the back will make a difference for UPS, USPS, and FedEx deliveries.
On this dog. Take it for check up. It sounded in distress. Then find a No Kill shelter and take the 4 in. Bear might need a girlfriend, todays may work
Call best friends animal sanctuary. They will pick up. They are out here in Utah. But they have picked up remotely. They can also refer you to a nonprofit that is closer. Some rescues end up with a facility that trains them to become service animals. We used them out here for rescues from hoarders. As a fellow retired leo I recommend them.
You surely have enough space somewhere on your properties to fence them in and keep them safe watered and fed until you can figure something more suitable out🤞🏻❤️
You have a big enough platform to find homes for the other pups. As for this one? I’d keep her. See how she does around the goats and birds but Anatolian’s are great dogs. I know rescue isn’t what you wanted to do but I’ve been a haven for a few strays till I found them a forever home. It’s rewarding. ❤
I think he can’t be bothered. He’s too busy building his hunting channel. Look at Coghill farm unfortunately people dump animals on them all the time and they truly care about these animals and if they can’t keep them, they find them homes ,they would never just leave them or think about putting them down. I think it would be a great idea to help the dog and he could include it on his channel and gain more subscribers although I don’t think he cares because he’s already got plenty 😢

I live way to far away or she would be a great addition to my property. We have coyotes from time to time and a dog like her would be great to protect our area . My neighbors dogs use to keep them away but the big male passed away and the coyotes are coming closer to the neighborhood. Hopefully the owner sees this or atleast the new dog gets some help she definitely is asking for it.
The way she was whining and wanted your contact, I'd say she was likely abandoned. If she was dangerous you wouldn't have been able to get close to her. I would add that it appeared she may have injured her leg that was she was favoring it. Me, I'd go back next day to see if she was still there. The warehouse/barndominium is looking great and can't wait to see it finished :)

Awesome you’re able to get the local grocery stores to work with you and give you the old produce. When we had sheep, goats, chickens, and turkeys 25 years ago, our local stores would do the same for us. Even old Christmas trees would be great-as the sheep liked to hide around them in the snow storms we’d get (even though they had perfect shelter to use). I agree Small Town America is wonderful! I lived and worked grocery for many years. We used to give out scrap and aged veggies and fruit to farm owners. Until..one time..not our store..the farm owner got his free scraps and fed to his prize pigs. Do you think the owner was smart enough to go through the boxes and he k for harmful things..NO. He just dumped the boxes and let them eat. Well if you know..there are wire ties and rubber bands on most items. Well the at least 1 pig ate a.wire tie and sued. That is why grocery stores stopped giving out leftovers. If you want that kinda atuff..go dumpster diving. Always 1 to ruin for others

When I’m on my tractor making improvements on the land I swell with pride knowing my father in Heaven is Smiling down at me. Keep up the Good work you are doing.

I would put food out for the dogs and eventually I would see if you can get them to a vet or get the vet to come out and check them out. 1) check them for chips, 2) make sure they are all in good health. NO I wouldn't take them home to your home because first off you have multiple dogs that may not take well to them especially Bear. Also you never know how they would react to your animals.
She is a dog like Lester’s. A guard dog. Just wants to be loved 😢 I would feed them and give them a dry place to live, water. Take picture and post to public. First thing I'd do is see if you can get the dogs checked for micro chips. The vet would likely scan them for free. If they're chipped you may be able to find out who owns/dumped them. I wouldn't necessarily say that you should try to take all the dogs, but if anything I'd probably see about that one lone female. She definitely seemed sweet and not reactive toward you. Watching her when you first went up to her it seemed like she had a bit of trouble getting herself to get up. Like maybe she had a sore hip or something. I know you probably don't need/want another mouth to feed, but I think the female needs you at least for now until she can be re-homed. You might want to check into what animal rescues might be somewhat local to you. They could at least get her into foster care until she finds someone to adopt her.
contact area vets...they might recognize the dogs and could point you to the owner(s). could even put up signs in stores and the local post office to try to find the owners
I love your channel being an Exfarmer just brings back so many fond memories, taking care of the animals,mowing hay . We did the same thing with 225 cows to milk. Love it. Your family has been blessed so much.

I'm in a similar situation. A couple of weeks ago, I could hear a dog barking and whining outside. I found out it was a little baby puppy under my house. I can't take a dog to the pound. I've checked Tulsa for lost dogs, put the word out to my neighbors, and nothing. I don't have a yard, and this puppy is growing fast.
You put in a lot of a for thought, great investment. The dog looks hungry more than anything, unfortunate people dump dogs like that as they’re dependent on humans to care for them
