The nuclear family has broken down and the old ways of become more popular again. For the longest time The vast minority of men had multiple wives in the majority of men had no one or one. Only about 40% of men have ever reproduced over time. The church bringing in a new respect for monogamy gave the average man a chance to have a wife and to reproduce. But since people are locking away from the church monogamy is failing

When a very large number of the women are only interested in a tiny number of the men there is only one way to make those numbers work. The trad wife thing is driving this as much as anything else. When ya only want the 6's there's a huge pool of we short uggos that have no role in this and you have to revert to a polygamous society.

This is not how this works. What's natural gets emphasized without rules, including unspoken rules enforced by shaming. So these one on one relationships you deem natural aren't at all. Let’s get it straight, polyamory is the issue. Polygyny is just as good of a family structure as monogamy if not better. Polygamy is an umbrella term used for both lifestyles yet both of those marriage styles are completely different. One is allowed by God and was practiced by him(or at least used as a metaphor repeatedly) and the other is a disobedience to one man one woman, not sleeping with the same sex, fornication and the rules of adultery.

The nuclear family as far back as the 50s had high value men philandering, it's time to revise the model and with the result that high value men are not beholden to monogamy.
