Thought this was a goodbye to WA. Stumbled upon your channel for the first time just this week and really enjoying your videos. Glad to see you are staying in WA mate
How lucky you are to experience such things in this life, and to see these sites, but also to have such a trustworthy 4wd to experience it with also. Keen to see the next big-rig!
I bet its gonna be sad seeing it go with the memories you spend in it and going to places. But least the young bloke knows you looked after it well. But I cant wait to see the new one and see how your gonna build this one out.
I’ve just bought a house in Warracknabeal. So I’m close to the south Australian border now, I’ve lived in a flat in the city, three floors up for decades. Finally a home and in the bush. I want to explore a bit (not an adventurer like yourself- no I’m a 62 year old lady, lol, and tired). But I want to di something. Your videos are part of my childhood inspiration and practical guidance. Thank you. You trucker ! - the title made me think you were ending the channel. But im not annoyed at the ‘click-bait’ title at all. To hell with it, lol. It was a good video. Taught me more about Toyotas. And - its hard to dislike you. Would take a hell of a lot more than that. Thanks for your help mate-your educating about travelling Australia
I've enjoyed watching your adventures with the Hilux from time to time. I recently upgraded from a 2002 Hilux to a 2012 RG Colorado. They are as different as chalk and cheese! Having recently retired, I wanted something more modern that was turbo diesel and didn't need constant repairs etc. I'm sure that you will enjoy your upgrade too! I'm also glad to hear that you are doing well mentally. Hopefully the new vehicle will recharge your batteries and be a positive influence into the future, I know that mine has! I look forward to seeing what you have now!
Rg colorados especially the series 2 and trailblazers are the best value modern 4x4s out there. They are simple and have quite a few benefits over the hiluxs rangers and dmaxs. Bulletproof. I wouldn't go near a series 1 tho. Sorry
Sad to see the old girl go, hoping you end up with a new rig just as reliable. How you went without A/C I don't know. Best of wishes and happy safe travels.
Congratulations 🎉 and we’re all going to miss your old hilux to!. I know I’ll miss seeing it parked at yota when I drove past exspecially!! The canopy mural always gave the carpal some much needed life. ❤
Love you mate, im slightly in the opposite (geographically) situation as you my partner is over in Perth. We go out jetskiing over here in SEQ and camping etc. If you're keen I'll be over in Perth for a catchup end of this month if you want to get out do some diving spearfishing and camping. Yabbies should be all around now too.
Hey mate, didn't realise I only lived a couple houses down from you down south, just started seeing the hilux out the front down the road! been watching for a while and sucks to see it go but onto a new chapter and bigger and better things. Hope you're keeping well mate. btw I've got the white 2001 Holden TF Rodeo with the black tray a couple doors down
I have a 33 year old Troopy with wind up windows that still work...........don't think that will be the case with power windows + they are a pain when camping having to turn on the power.
Hopefully it's a secret because it's being given to you? Been following a longtime and you are looking well now, look after yourself. Enjoy your trip back to SA for the catch up.
The turbo timer is illegal in WA seriously , thats stupid , mate how many semis go to WA and their got turbo timers built in from factory , gee its great to see a hilux with a solid front diff 👍
Sorry mate it was advertised for 2 weeks on Facebook marketplace, gumtree and I also let everyone know on instagram. I even put a post up on RU-vid for anyone interested
@@Campingdownunderyeah we've been busy sorting out and packing, we're moving at the weekend from a 4 bedroom place to a 2 bedroom place so it's hectic 🥴 I look forward to seeing more of your adventures once we get sorted. Keep up the good work 👍
Nah you didn't miss it mate I forgot to mention it lol. I'll have a loaner in the meantime so I'll still be able to go camping until my next hilux is sorted 👍
They are great for keeping the fridge running 24/7 but the roooft tent blocks them when setup at camp. On my next car I won't be doing it again. I'd like to have my maxtrax on the doors making them easier to get to
Everyone has always said that in all my videos lol. I honestly can't help it. I have some kind of speech impairment but I don't let it stop me making the videos. I've tried slowing down but then I naturally start talking quickly again lol
shame you feel the need for clickbait in the video title. and why cant you talk about your next car? sounds like you are saving that for another clickbait video. travel and car content is great.
It's a picture of my hilux with the caption a sad goodbye. In what way can that be taken as click bait? Different if it was me in the thumbnail but it's clearly my hilux. I don't appreciate negative comments like this. I try and update people with as much as I can and I get negative comments like this. A sponsor is the reason I can not talk about it just yet. No other reason. Don't know why I bother updating everyone when I get comments like this
This isn't a publicity thing. I genuinely can't say anything just yet until everything is finalised. Hence why I've been so quiet with videos lately. I've been very busy behind the scenes but still wanted to keep everyone updated as much as I can for now. Won't be long & I'll be able to say more
Well, me and my 18 month are a week and a half away from being homeless, come pick us up from Perth and let's go on an adventure 😂🎉 seriously. I'm with out any one or any thing and all I want is adventure and happiness. So sick of renting and living in society. Don't ever give up
I'm sorry to hear your going through a rough time. I understand how you feel. Send me a message on instagram if you'd like to talk about it. It's bloody tough time's at the moment
