Hey everyone! It's been a while! We've really missed hanging out with you each week :( A lot has been going on behind the scenes (both with travel & at the workshop!) & we needed to step back from videos. 2024 is a MASSIVE year for us, and will include not only a very special product launch (that will also be road legal!) but also an international transition abroad!!! YAHOOO! While we likely won't have weekly videos for you until the summer months, we DO have a few big ones on the horizon, so make sure to hit the notifications to not miss it! You all are the BEST!
Today, I realised I hadn’t seen a Ladi & Margret video in ages! Came to find out what’s going on. So glad to hear you are both living your best lives. All the best. 🙌🏾
Missed you too! Feels so so good to hit the upload button again. We’re so out of the YT groove; I must have watched this video a million times all paranoid that I made some edit or upload mistake 😅
So glad you all are well! Been missing your content - I was so happy to see you pop up in my feed this morning! Thanks for the glimpse into a lovely adventure! Excited to see more
Welcome to Hungary! I’m not sure though what those floating steam things are never heard of them 😅 but our country is really beautiful and the same goes to the Czech Repulblic and Poland ❤
Hey Judy:) I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the video! Our travels recently haven’t included many over-the-top activities, so we havent known if making videos about casual camping would be very entertaining. Maybe we’re over-thinking it?
@@ladiandmargaret yeah you’re over thinking it. The history of the area was interesting. Seeing you function in your high tach van is interesting. Even hearing that something didn’t work and how you fixed the problem is good content. I don’t need heart stopping adventure. Heart stopping scenery is always a bonus. I feel like an episode of visiting with you guys is like hanging out with old friends.
Way too long 😭 we’ve really missed the videos, but over the last few years we learned that recording all our projects on a weekly basis takes so much time that it ends up slowing down the project a bit too much for our liking. BUT there is a finish line to the work, at least! Thank you for being here!!
Hey guys, been following your channel for inspiration for a while now (building my own van as well, but to way - way less sophisticated standars :-)) and happy to see that you are exploring my home country. There are some really cool overnight spots in the Danube Bend, near the Dömös ferry, overlooking Nagymaros and the mountains, you would like it for sure! Greetings from Budapest, and keep up the good work, all the best! (and you get the Turul legend right as well :-) )
Margaret, I thought Ladi married you because you are smart, beautiful and adventurous, but now I am suspecting that it was your cooking skills he was after. Those meals are making me hungry!!!
Oh no, don't reveal the secret of van life in eastern part of Europe! I want it to stay uncrowded! Joking aside - nice video and great to see you again.
Hi Troy and Aimee! So nice to see you guys again here in the comment section! Way too long is absolutely right:) I’m so looking forward to getting back to being more regular on this platform again (later this year for sure!). We’ve been living in the van since our last upload (with the exception of some time abroad with friends/family & some weekends up north at the cabin) and finally recording what trips in the van have been looking like has felt really great. Hope you guys are doing well!!
Yay! Great to see you both and all the projects. I didn’t get a notification. 😢 RU-vid gets lazy sometimes, but I saw your IG post. I’m really looking forward to Eastern Europe vanlife! ✌️❤️✌️
Que Barbaridade ! ! ! Eles voltam ! ! ! (Southern Brazil slang for Ohhhh Shiot ! ! ! (Meant in a good way). They return ! ! ! ) You both have been missed in Southern Brasil. Welcome back ! ! !
Thank you Tiango!!! 💜 Felt crazy to get back on camera and into the edit again; I’m so slow now 😜 We’ll see if you all find this type of van content interesting, because maybe then we can try out some new types of videos (like ASMR camping, or just simple travel) Regardless it’s so nice to be back:)
Very nice videos ❤ love the way you approach your projects with smartness and ingenuity. Best wishes for all your next steps in yr way to climb the world 🍀👍🤙
Hi Guys its great to see you finally using the camper van yyaaaaayyyyyy what a camping location its somewhere we are dying to get to but have family commitments so it wont be this year. You are both looking great stay safe love beat wishes see you on the next video 🫶🙏👍
Looks like you two are having fun. Not sure if you recorded it, but I'd like to see how you installed your new water tank as well as the items used to heat the water.
I love this kind of content and new video style! Always loved your van conversion videos, and i am using them for my future van this summer (yipee 🥳) But it's also really cozy to just hang out with you in new spots and hear about struggles or routines you might have to do in your daily life in the van 😊 looking forward to more videos. Also love love love you as a duo ❤
Hi Ladi & Margaret, been watching you content for ages now and just wanted to say thank you for all your content, we took inspiration from your build in our own van, in which we have recently used for a trip to the Arctic. Your content helped when looking at would could be done to a van and while being open minded going into our build and looking to think outside the box, you guys take it to a whole new level. Thanks again love you guys, Matt & Anita.
Great vlog you guys! I hope to visit Hungary one day. I was there as a little girl one summer but only remember having terrific ice cream LOL I know I know there's so much more to see... that falcon park looks great! Only in Europe would you find such an attraction totally free. Happy travels... can't wait to see what treasure you come across next.
I am SOOOOOOOOO happy to see a new video from you guys! Good to know you've not fallen off the face of the map! I figured you were probably traveling and doing your thing, but it's so nice to see what that looks like for you guys. Excited about your newest venture, but mostly, just happy to see your smiling faces. Happy camping!!
I knew you would come back refreshed and with amazing new projects! Can't wait to see what is next! And I like that you shared about the water heater issue. It reminds me that even With all your planning and testing there will be fiascos and redos.
I LOVE this video! FR, this is the first video we've ever seen of you guys just being van lifers. It's great to see you get to relax and enjoy the fruits of your genius minds and skilled hands. Don't get me wrong, i love watching you innovate all you touch, but this was nice. This is the kind of travel i will do... So glad to see you guys back! Looking forward for the next adventure!
Have you two considered doing a collaboration with Ambition Strikes? This is the RU-vid couple that has the most in common with you two-- Vanlife, ebikes, container homes, solar, metal fabrication and so much more.. They really are your counterparts here in the US.
Oh wow, I recently found y'alls videos and saw the camper video setup. That is one sick setup. Out of curiosity, what is your background? I notice the 3d printer, design software, and ebikes and such. I'm curious how yall got into it and how yall learned these stuff
Ah love to see how you’re getting on in the van. We lived through its build. Definitely need to see how you’re enjoying it! 👍. Also fab to see countries not normally covered on RU-vid. Most of Western Europe covered regularly. East not so much!
Guys, you both are fantastic couple! I saw the video the Van Building and I astonished with all I saw. Did you guys research for the knowledge to do the build or that's usually jobs that you have been doing for along time? I hope my inglish through my expectations and you could understand me 😅
Hi! Really cool all your projects! I am a big fan. if you arrive into Romania and need any advices/assistance I would be more than happy to help you out!❤
Very nice to be back Ladi and Margaret... question for you guys, back in the build series, what kind of cells did Ladi use to make your battery pack? Please help me out on this.
Hi Ladi and Margret, youève mentioned that camping in eastern europe is easier as it is in the western countries. Is it because it is culturally accepted to sleep outside, or is it legally right to simply do wild camping?
Great to have you both back!!! Missed hearing from you both! Very curious of your new product! Also... What is this international transition abroad means? More surprises for us viewers?!! Always love the footages that you shared from your journeys, the untouched landscapes by tourism is tranquility to the eyes! Those thermal pools in the middle of the river piqued my curiosity, did both or either of you tried it?
We didn’t do the thermals this time around, but they are on our radar now! We still haven’t technically “announced” details about the transition just because the date has fluctuated for shipping, but I (Margaret) am very ready to return to the states. I originally left 7 years ago only with the intention of traveling full time, never with the intention of permanently living somewhere else. As much as I love having a base here (and close to Ladi’s fam!) I miss my friends, family, and culture. Lucky for me Ladi LOVES the USA, so we’re working on his visa situation and keeping our fingers crossed that it goes smooth so we can ship our van across the ocean!
Awesome you two are back Has been some time! Thats a very nice episode. Did actually went down to Bulgaria? I am from there so i am curioius to see your experience :)
Unfortunately legalizing in the EU would cost us literally millions of dollars, so for the EU we’re planning to make it so individuals in the EU can legalize their bikes on an individual basis. Sadly this continent is a little too red-taped, especially for small businesses
I know that you guys are speaking to an audience that generally has no clue about east European countries but you have given Hungary a little bit more credit from the start. It is a choice. As with every country I also traveled to Hungary before completely open-minded. It is amazing. The people are nice, the weather is nice, the food is good and one does not always have to look over one's shoulder to see if you are safe..... You are. I much rather go to east European countries than any other (North-western) European countries or any other "western" country. But that is just me and I am considered to be stupid so don't read my post. Oh damn, you did.... Sorry.
Hungary is fabulous:) You’re so right that the safety aspect is completely under-rated. I have this same feeling in a lot of Slovak countries, too. Although Eastern Europe is not very shiny, new, and overly “modern”, people are hard-working, kind, and super supportive of visitors (especially in places where the visitors are few and far between!)
@@ladiandmargaret Furthermore, to my opinion, East-European people have a higher level of moral standards. Sure enough these countries and the people have their flaws too but while my country sinks deep into Liberal exuberances, these countries tend to stick more to their original moral values. Especially Hungary and Serbia. The more I see my country (the Netherlands) slip out of control, the more I appreciate the common sense of these countries.
@@Triggered1964 It always surprises me the creativity of people and how they filter my words in such a way that they come to conclusions I never came close to. Remarkable.
@@Ctrl_Del_0 So you like eastern European countries bc its safer and people have higher morals and i agree with you, which involves traditional relationships / marriage Christianity and hard work. The term you use liberal exuberances means to ME a lack of church, promiscuous relationships, degenerate relationships and promoting a bor +ion$ as if its the morning after pill. The liberal democracies in Europe which I'm including the UK. Promotes open their borders to mass uncontrolled my gray tion from parts of the world that have very different values. Your comments say as much, without saying the taboo subjects Stop ignoring the elephant in the room that's why we are in the mess we're in
Super, že Česko řadíte do východní Evropy. Už min. dekádu se politická reprezentace snaží vést představu o ČR coby zemi západní Evropy a vy tohle myšlení úspěšně bouráte. Mě je z představy že bych se měl řadit za obyvatele východní Evropy dosti zle.
Yeah probably could’ve picked a different one. Each image of “Eastern Europe” is different since there isn’t really a designated list. Even google includes Turkey & Russia, both of which technically wouldn’t be considered Europe. Then the inclusion of Croatia, Greece, etc starts mixing with “southern” so idk how to be right about any of it lol
