I agree that Bantayan's Sandira Beach or Paradise beach is among the most beautiful white sandy beaches in Cebu for its paradisiacal allure with fine white sandy beach, clear blue calm water. Virgin Island is another amazing awe-inspiring islet of Bantayan having a white sandy beach with amazingly crystal blue water that boats seem to float on the air. Malapascua Island has 4 main public white sand beaches which are really picturesque and post-card perfect.

Bantayan island is truly a gem of a place. Lots of beautiful places that only few tourists frequent and more places you need to discover while you're here in our country. You're lucky to get there. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines. As always, Filipinos are friendly and accommodating. Yes, the only downside of this place is the internet connection. Authorities should do something about this.

@Two Mad Explorers....Since you're planning to stay in Cebu longer, I suggest you go to Carnaza Island, probably one of the best-kept secrets of Cebu's collections of paradisiacal islets hosting white sandy beaches. You need to go over to Daan Bantayan first, on the northernmost tip of mainland Cebu and charter a boat (used in island hopping tours) from there. You may visit a local tourism office in Daan Bantayan main town to learn on how to get there. But if you want to travel like a local, there is a regular trip via motor boat from the main town of Daan Bantayan to Carnaza Island as Carnaza Island is the northernmost island barangay (smallest government unit of the Philippines) of Cebu.

bantayan island, malapascua island, and kamotes island are the underrated beach destinations of the northern part of cebu island. but then again, all over the Philippines there are still non-touristy beautiful islands that's to die for w/c aren't known destinations .... yet.

i lived in Bantayan 7 months in one stay and been three times(or 4) so actually i think i lived almost one year there. the best beach in my opinion is kota beach, santa fe , its just amazing, mesmerizing , pure paradise on a nice day but some days lots of crap comes to shore due to currents and it can become very bad. the tides are always changing so the position of the sand dunes and the beach look changes constantly. best month ever is May for the colour of the water but also other months are amzing depending on tides and weather . the only bad month is usually septmeber(rain and wind with lots of garbage coming to shore). we found amazing days even in august which is not supposed officially to be nice. Easter week should also be avoided due to the incredible crowds(the only period). I loved Bantayan. we even conceived our son there and we came back in 2022 to show him the place where he was "really" born. i was subscribed to you for the india videos that you took some time ago. you are really nice!

@Two Mad Explorers....You try Cebu's longest stretch of white sandy beach over in mainland Cebu located on the northwestern town of San Remigio, the same town hosting Port of Hagnaya where you take the ferry to Santa Fe on Bantayan Island. It's just a short driver from the Port of Hagnaya. It is the longest stretch of white sandy beach in all of Cebu.

Beaches are public, but properties you use to get there are private (unless there's a road) hence the entrance fee. More expensive if there are facilities. Btw, bring w you plastic bread clips to fix your tsinelas (flipflops).

You can also visit the more popular beaches of El Nido and Coron. Many vloggers consider them as the BEST in the world. Bantayan is better if you want beach with fewer tourists 😊

Last time I was in this Island was 2016. I like the way they have grid-like streets, less or no choke points at all.. Unlike the main Island of Cebu which is mostly unplanned or snake-like streets or roadways, except the newly developed or reclaimed lands. Also, just about every Elementary or High school by the national highway/roads has basketball courts in front of them in every Island throughout the Philippines.

You should check out Carnaza Island, the northernmost island of the entire Cebu. Carnaza is closer to Masbate than it is to Cebu. Carnaza is like a place detached from the modern world as you soon as your boat lands on the shore as a blinding white sandy beach greets you and the lush greenery of the island. There are about 3 small hamlets or villages on the island mostly located close to the shore but they're far and between and the main beach is not populated at all. The main beach though has teepee-like accommodations for guests who want to stay overnight. You can also bring your tent.

Hi guys. The lagoon you mentioned on this video is actually not the actual lagoon. The lagoon is called Baigad Lagoon and accessible only through a boat ride when high tide; if low tide, you can actually walk just on the beach side from where you are standing to your right. It's a 20 min. walk if I'm not mistaken. The lagoon is also a very nice beach. They have restaurants there now, a pool. When you see it, it's like a river connecting to the beach.

Usually the fee like P25 pesos or P70 pesos is just for the upkeep for the place with no facilities. If you need to use facilities you just have to ask to use the one from the owner of the beach resort which is usually just nearby.

You can ask the local the building of your screen. The German couple explored and discovered boracay beach before was very clean the water was crystal clear like this but today boracay is very crowded lots of tourist arrived from local or abroad.

Oh you aren't actually paying to enter the beach, you're paying to pass through private land to access the beach. All beaches in the country are owned by the State. But somehow, the local governments allow people to buy all the beachfront properties essentially closing public access.

Luke & Naomi... Waaaaay better. Pristine and uncrowded not contaminated by too much commercialism unlike Boracay. I went to Boracay when it was still undeveloped, no electricity yet but it was beautiful. I hope that place stay undisturbed.
