My goodness, that island is so so amazing! Amazing white, smooth and powdery sand. Amazing ceystal clear waters. And you almost get to have it exclusively yours, Mergim. Hahahaha. I envy you there. I wish I could have that as well. ❤️❤️❤️
Mergim, the best time to travel to the Philippines and avoid the monsoon season is April and May. July and August are bad because these months are MONSOON season! But at least you are able to enjoy Virgin Island on a smooth day. And if you ever get pricked by SEA URCHINS, use vinegar to wash away what is under your skin. During my time, I was even told by local fishermen to use my own urine and IT worked! Acidity washes away the sea urchin the next day. I was about 9 years old when I got pricked by sea urchins in Cebu decades ago.
Thank God you're safe Mergim no injuries at all. Lezzzzzgoooo for 50k subscribers! We love you Mergim 😘. Just asked my friends to subscribe to your channel Mergim. You deserve to be promoted to spread Mergim's travel and promote Philippine tourism.
Beautiful beach! Well done Mergim. You're the first to explore Virgin island in Batayan amongst vloggers I think. Maybe Camotes island next. Sta safe always. God bless. 👍🏝🏝
Bantayan islands and the rests of islands and islets have pristine beaches as very few tourists visiting. I love it. The islands are practically all for yourself, peaceful, quite with only birds chirping, listening the wind blowing and the waves ripples, rustling of the leaves. I missed those times Mirgem when tourists didn’t know where Philippines is. Enjoy the area before tourism starts building up.
Why do foreigners not like to come here? Actually there is some trash on the beaches and sea but overall its still good. Service is painfully slow in restaurants. Food quality is low.
Both been to virgin island in bohol and bantayan I would say I enjoyed my stay more in bantayan's virgin island as you can wander from the island, sleep on the beach under the shade of the trees, plus the cliff jumping, the platform used to be made of bamboos only but it was way way higher than the current platform. It seems they are still constructing it so I think they will be adding more levels. Hoping to get back there soon 🥰
Kawasan falls did have a higher jump before it got destroyed in the typhoon, I can't remember exactly how high but I did do it and it was scary. I went to Virgin Island about 3 or maybe years ago and it still looks as beautiful now. It really is paradise in the Philippines and I am so envious of you at the moment.
Maybe the boat crew abhorred your plan of getting his company to the jumping platform which he didn't like. They hate walking. During our visit there in March 2021 (when Cebu was first reopened to tourism since the pandemic began in March 2020) our crew of two also told us that we might not be able to do the cliff jumping as it was too far and we might run out of time. We arrived at Virgin Island at about 11:30AM after visiting Hilantagaan Island further south. But when we checked with the sign installed at the trail head, it was not that far so we ventured out to the cliff jumping point ourselves. We met other groups along the way but they told us that it wasn't that far. So we proceeded and true enough it wasn't far as it only took us less than 10 minutes of normal pacing.
My hats off to you Mergim…you just dont visit the PHL but you also dissect our tourism places..in fact im learnin from you about Cebu…its a shame when im even a Pinoy hahaha..its very detailed..you just dont go to one place but “theres is no stone unturned “ as the saying goes..you are meticulous and detailed in whatever what you are doin..keep it up bro…youre doin great..love your vlogs..take care.😇
Mergim...Virgin Island is beautiful. I was watching Eight Miles and they went to Balicasag Island in Bohol. I think it’s worth going. They saw 3 sea turtles. Ingat ka lagi Mergim.
Mergim -- I imagined Yenly Yours living in Cebu's Virgin Island and she would have a mango tree. Ha, ha. Nice to see you had a relaxing afternoon. But being alone on an ideal beach would make me feel wistful. Sorry about your sunglasses. It is so much part of your daytime look.
dude! you bailed on them cool peeps and that hot chick, who seemed to dig you, to sleep in a bit and pay more to hang with this guy for the quick later and more expensive ride? waaaaaahaahahaahha geeeez, oh well meet up in Michael Jordan bar strip
Fantastic jump mate! Great shot using the drone and camera in hand .. I felt my jewels scrambling up my "you know where" :P Shouldn't you get yourself a Water Shoe if you are doing island hopping and beach explorations? It helps protect you from slippery paths as well as pointy rocks and things.
@@El_.5794 Yeah ... but nowadays water shoes are inexpensive too. Provides more protection, especially against slippery surfaces, which is what it is meant for.
That jumping platform is unforgettable experience to me because it is where my sunglasses fell off as I forgot to take them off before the jump. I realized only later when something shiny slowly sank to the bottom of the ocean and those were my glasses. Unwilling to lose it, I dove for it and successfully retrieved it in just a single dive that even surprised myself. The life guard said that the water was 12-13 feet deep as it was high tide. I never thought I still could free dive that deep considering that my last deep dive was in the 1990s. I realized it was all God's plan.
I shared your video to encourage a give and take... Coz I believe you are contributing to our tourism through your vlogs... thank you for exposing even our hard-to-find beauty spots.... God bless you, brother!
