@@s4k072fat in the spam will melt and will eventually caramelize to a golden brown color if you sear it right, not gonna stick because it is already quite fatty unless you somehow managed to burn it
I am 58 and all my life wondered what this stuff was is I bought a can and bravely going to try it, while I’m listening to Monty pythons Spam Spam Spam Spam & Weird Al’s version 😊
Funniest part is, spam works in a carbonara dish as you generally use bacon/pancetta. Just saute your diced onions, minced/crushed garlic in some oil, add spam after onions absorb most of the oil, bring all to a nice saute/heat, add chicken broth, and a little bit of parmesan cheese, stir, add gelatin powder if you have available (1/4 a teaspoon) to turn your chicken stock more into a chicken stock (thicker), simmer down, get your noodles how you like them, slightly above al-dente for me, and then I drain and toss the noodles in the boiling stock, add black pepper, let simmer till small amount of juices remain, you still want some though, remove from heat, toss just an egg YOLK in and immediately stir, thickens up your sauce. I ate raspberry chocolate wheels, asparagus, and milk for supper.
That looks absolutely yummy!!! I like to make a nice overalled cheap Ramen, "Bacon" spam cut a little bit thinner and the egg just how you did. So Good!
Some people eat spam without cooking it thats one of the reasons why people hate it, like what do you expect meat thats inside of the can or thats processed eat it immedietly
You can totally cook this Pan without using a ton of oil just to letting you know. You actually don't need any oil. Once it Heats up, the oil inside of the Spam melts, cooking everything.
I love spam I at least one can of week if not more. I think the oil would make it a little too greasy I get a good char on my spam I just put it in a ungreased unbuttered cast iron pan..😋
weird how everyone eats their eggs raw like that these days! I was taught you always had to flip them at least just long enough to cook the egg whites, leaving the yolk runny is ok but raw egg whites have salmonella.
