I like Panini products that show the logos and emblems on the helmets/jerseys on the cards. Otherwise, I just pass on them. Cards have gotten to where I can live with them or I can live without them. Personally, I think Panini will hang around with their NASCAR product line. I really like those cards and they are not that expensive.

Yes Panani’s inefficiencies have created opportunities for secondary market in which some of us have profited, as they fad away opportunities will fad. Panini last year had highest growing sticker sales worldwide, they probably stick around awhile.

I am what you say “old rigid dude”, I liked a lot of the companies that panini bought out as you mentioned, fleer, donruss and a few others but they did away with fleer but still make donruss panini products. As for topps, it was a sad day when they sold their Canadian affiliate o-pee-chee to. Upper deck. The quality was superior to topps and because of it being the Canadian version, it was more rare in general but the quality of the cards were much higher than topps. The picture was usually the same but just a nicer card stock that was especially noticeable on the back of the cards. But on point to the video I was the same as you with prizm at first as well as topps chrome. The card stock was new and innovative but it grew on me and the thing that hurts it the most is that so many of the cards from any manufacturer that has that kind of finish is extremely susceptible to scratches. I don’t feel like the card industry is looking very bright unless fanatics buys out panini and keeps it as a separate entity. Like the psa buying sgc scenario. i think if fanatics bought out panini and keot it aa a separate entity and gave them all the fanatics card deals, licenses and brands, i think that the quality of cards would be drastically better. As you said fanatics doesn't really care about the card industry but panini did and does. i think quality is going down because panini sees their end coming and fanatics seems not to care much, so panini although they care, as a dying company trying to hang on i think the objective now is to cut costs which equals bad quality but compared to fanatics who just don't seem to care the bad quality is on par with each other. imo it is either that scenario or upper deck and some of the other companies become the industry and maybe if fanatics doesn't start upping their game in cards, we may see their shares and companies in the industry fade from existence as well. this is why i made my first statement because without much competition, if fanatics does not up their card quality, people are not going to keep paying the prices of the higher than regular topps set for long if they don't care to be innovative and as carefree about the cards thinking that putting any crap they want out and slap the topps name on it and tbink history will continue. fanatics has been complacent in a time when they should be embracing the opportunities they have and will be getting via licenses in the future. i will give panini that! they embraced their opportunities when they had them and are still trying more in the situation at hand. complacency is what has killed so many companies that were once dominant. they give up on trying because of their past and do not innnovate. then smaller or new companies fighting to compete end up surpassing them because of egoic laziness. i could keep talking but i think we alll get the picture that i am trying to paint. 🍻

Yeah, I’ve noticed panini cards for the most part look very similar to all their other years. No ingenuity over there. I was around for the Jerry Rice years but was way too busy working to really care. So the greatest receiver I’ve ever watched was Larry Fitzgerald. We had season tickets during his time and that stud came down with horrible passes from Curt Warner. Fitzgerald revived Warners career. He wasn’t the fastest, but that dude could catch and fight for balls. On the eBay bs side of things, I sold a card to cboo46 and he didn’t pay. I waited and waited and finally told me to relax, I got you today. Of course he didn’t pay. I started going through his feedback and yes lots of people saying he doesn’t pay. The weird thing is that one guy was saying great buyer, fast deliver, shit like that several times in this guys feedback. The guy saying that…probstein123! I remember you saying to watch out for that guy. Maybe you mentioned cboo46 as well but I couldn’t remember. It’s like these guys are a team of con men. I have to do a better job of writing down who you say to watch. Thanks for your videos!

There's good and bad, of course. Topps coming back will get a LOT of people back in the hobby that haven't been doing much, if anything, this last decade. Personally, the only panini issued NFL card of any importance would be getting a Mahomes RC in my collection. Literally don't care about anything else they've done. As for 2014/2015 Topps Chrome... they knew they were losing the license and they printed it into oblivion. I remember it well. You could break an entire case of that stuff and not pull a card valued over $40... and the next best "hit" would be a $15 card. It was absolutely brutal. If Topps comes in with HOFer's and top QB/RB/WR autos - ON CARD - on some of these established brands from Chrome and over on the baseball side, there's zero reason to own a panini sticker auto of anyone, unless it's a RC and you're forced to if you want to own that players RC. Having been around for decades, it's disgusting what complete garbage football cards have been for the last 10+ years. Panini was bare minimum, pump it out and see if they'll buy this crap with stickers/fake 'jerseys'/event used... whatever. Topps isn't perfect, but they are FAR closer to what they and UD had going before panini came along.

I want to tell you something. Don't buy redemption cards at peak. Never. Buy Caitlin Clark at peak. Get them graded and you'll be rolling in the dough 💸 just like me my man 💪

I’m new to the industry and I was wondering, hypothetically If you have a low numbered auto of a talented but unproven player and there is no pop at all, as far as graded goes, but it’s immaculate. Do you take chance with no graded pop or sell raw and move on to something else? In both options, auction is the means of sale. Trying to get rid of quickly to fund a much larger purchase.

' 🎓💪 My comment to that person in re Autographs, and how stickers, made by the sheet for Players, !?🤔🤔..??! *..'who knows who truly signs them by the sheet, etc...etc.. Comment replY: Word: Yup.., really sorry to say this.., but it seems..., that once upon a time, a Player's { In-person} Autograph ' Really Meant Something, however later.., the card companies began to to {Expect} Players to sign entire Reams of cheap sticker autographs.'. !? 🙄🎓.. Honestly, and though I still can appreciate the idea, but sheets and sheets of .. stickers; .. with autographs are really a very cheap exploitation of Minds, who really don't know or understand ' The Hobby..' but have enough just enough money, .. 😵‍💫... to be made to believe The Player even ' saw your face once upon a time..., and signed for "You.. 'their autograph..'

Couple things. Panini and Topps use the same facility to manufacture. So unless the blood is super bad there's room for deals including purchase of rights and to honor redemptions. Agree with you that Panini deserves praise for all sorts of things. While you are 100% right about baseball not being viable on many fronts; you are dead wrong about how solid it is within the hobby. Bowman chrome legacy goes back to the mid 2000s and baseball breaks are better supported than you know. All that said your content is awesome and worthwhile.
