@@Just_a_bench111 As the plot progressed, so did his plans. In order to have flexibility, I’m guessing he was manipulating them as well so whatever he did, they’d be less in his way. Also, he was finding out more about them and their psyche. He knew the friend (name I can’t remember) was having money problems so to get rid of him, Oliver framed him for burglary. He knew the sister was super fragile so he knew to leave some razors. He kissed up to the mom which was the final act of the plan and was indifferent to the dad to push him into grief.
