Ken I have an International tri-axle that has air ride suspension and I put an electric dump valve on it for when I get in a spot like your truck was in. You can dump the air out of the bags and let it sit down on the axle stops. Keeps my truck from leaning too bad when in the mud or on a side sloped road. Great video man! I look forward to seeing more. Awesome looking truck and equipment. Sorry, I meant Taylor not Ken.
Thanks for the video man I really appreciate the time that you take to make these. I totally agree about hiring someone that can follow you around that would mean that we would get a video every week and I would love that! I really look forward to these videos and this one was great! Keep up the great work and have a great rest of your week!
I skipped through the vid and when I saw the track excavator painted black and the trucks before that then I came to the part where you mentioned a full time video what ever person and then how you bought a screener and how far you have come. My stomach wrenched. I hope and pray work keeps strong and steady, you own the equipment outright and when the work stops you can take some time off and enjoy life till work comes back and not lose everything. Not sure how much youtube pays but I wish you all the luck in the world.
Just Wana let you know that your editing is on point. Awesome job on all the cinematic clips and putting it together in the edit. Keep up the good work!
I built bridges and bulkheads on golf courses for 12 years, my boss blacked out a 320 Cat, with logo on boom and dipper, and counterweight, flat black, it got plenty of attention, and I was the one to scratch it first, lol... Great videos, I miss pulling sticks....
Star car down. Thank you for all the videos! I work for Glengate in ct. it’s growing pretty good and just was able to get a cat 315 this year. Really would love if the company got one of those articulating attachments for our minis.
Hey ken white construction a nother awesome videos on your channel alot every day u are awesome RU-vidr u put out awesome content on your channel say safe and healthy with your family i hope this will get better soon so we can get back to normal life u definitely my favorite RU-vidr i been watching your channel a long time 😀
This has to be the best video yet. Music was on point, camera angles were perfect and I just love watching nice clean equipment go to work and a fellow Canadian show and talk about the same shit we deal with in our business. And no your not the only one who loves to blast the radio and sing along when running equipment. Do it all the time in the excavator and Teleskid. Star Car Down
Star car down! When you’re in it getting stuck can be the worst. Then like 6 months later you’re laughing your ass off with some buddies recalling the time you got the truck stuck and had to go on an epic adventure getting it unstuck.
Nice Set up...I've seen you around town.....I was in the same spot, But sunk in nose first on a 40° ramp....it took x2 Frank's Heavy Recovery to get out...thank God Kiewit paid the bill.." The ramp is solid",said the foreman🤣😂🤣
I like watching your videos and great job and I like seeing your trucks on the road as I also drive dump truck I work for a company out of almonte and when I see your trucks on the road they look good
With interest rates being lower than inflation, debt is a powerful resource right now. You hit the nail on the head about preserving cash. Keep it in the bank as working capital, reserves, and as an “opportunity fund” for when something special comes along.
Awesome video, you guys work in wet conditions alot, grab a big yankum rop man, they are worth the price they are promise ya, thanks for sharing man 💪💪
That truck leaning had me puckered up. I've been there before and it's a horrible feeling knowing it's inches from tipping. And it always happens on Friday's btw.
I don't know why, I love these vids, but damn does it make me miss running different equipment. Stepping into management has really made me miss the good old days of jumping in a piece of equipment and just grinding! Keep it up!
Reminds me of the old day drove quad axil dumps I did it all in them from halling stone salt sand and dirt to paving roads and parking lots miss it do to my heart and being on oxygen I'm am out of service I miss it .
I did this my first day driving triaxle but was on a slightly worse angle then this with a 1 foot deep ditch right next to it. Low and behold I was told I’m pretty expensive already costing the company $3k I’m wrecker service fees. They love me though😂
"Matts off road recovery", made a separate company with a few people that follow him around and do all the filming, editing, posting, merchandise, etc.
Also, do you find the mini ex's to be more rocky that a full size machine ? I was using a 9K unit and found it to rock and wiggle a lot more than the full size ones (20 ton).
#kenWhiteConstruction new to the channel. What caught my eye was the all black CAT excavator. That's BADASS ❗ never seen one painted and always stock colors. I'm a fan and love the music choice🤘💀🤘
Man just subscribed…awesome video definitely like the fact you talk about the business side of of it I had no idea about the hole borrowing side vs loan until I worked for a smaller company that rented out their old shop and made payments on the new one…operating cost is a write off…who knew?
I was dumping a load in the dump truck at work an as soon as the box got over the very rear axle you could feel it sink down a good few inches lol it didn't tip tho it just went straight down an got stuck had to lower the box till the weight was over the tires an pull forward some an then dump again had to do that 3 times. I only put 1 load back there it was so wet.
Had something similar happened to me aswell and my fathers taken a lot of trucks out in the same position he just pulls the side of the bed that isnt sucken down deep with the bucket
JD Picard showed me a bit of a trick to that, the truck that is pulling should have done it in reverse, so the weight of the load is behind the pull point, I seen him pull out a truck stuck just as bad if not worse than that in Navan some 30 years ago... doing a septic bed and they where hauling full loads of sand, I mean over the boards loaded :) ya just gotta make sure you dont snap a chain or you'll need a rad heh.... straps much better idea ^^ and his truck was sitting on asphalt but the principal is the same
"STAR CAR DOWN" Baby!! I agree, we need a videographer and ALOT MORE KEN WHITE CONSTRUCTION!! If I could I'd be supporting better by buying a Sweatshirt to wear this winter, (if you have my size) but I can't because this year has completely kicked my ass.
Local company had same thing happen they put a strap to the dump body up high and kept steady tension then dumped the truck while it was leaning and stuck once the load was out truck came right out and the strap kept it from tipping
You guys like Western Star Trucks. Do they offer more options than other manufactures? Does the company that owns Freightliner offer more motor options or can you get any motor trans & diffs?
Hey next time your stuck like this take a couple pieces of 2×4 and ratchet strap them to the tires assuming you can make it through the alcoas. Turns the tires into paddles.
Western Star down I hope that is what you said your words ran together plus I don't hear so good I enjoy your videos a bunch 'caus I was in the dirt end of construction for a bunch of yrs. You are doing great. by the way I am in E. Texas
