Thanks for taking your time and reading this description, while this is an alternative way to play Void Spirit I believe the hero is still perfectly balanced. So if you are going to attempt this please "no flame if lose" haha.
Really good and brief video. These types of videos on decision making of pros are so rare these days. But this type of content is what excites players more... Plz do more of these ❤
How do you only have 450 subscribers? This video was so well done, I enjoyed it! Wishing you many more subs. What I like about Topson, is that if you noticed over the years, he picks heroes he wants to play rather then heroes that will generally win him the game. Same goes for his items. This, to me, is what makes him a unique Midlaner.
Great work! I like this type of video, analyzing decision making and skill/item usages from players is somewhat rare. Keep it up, I look forward for future uploads
I like how you share your thoughts on what they are doing instead of just showing the replay. It made for a more concise teaching video which I really appreciate. Thank you.
Just subscribed. It was very thorough and insightful. You have a talent for this. Hope your channel grows. Also the voice (or maybe just your mic) is pleasant sounding. Makes it all the more relaxing to watch
Man, this is the first time i see real objective and informative video about high level dota. You have a really nice way to analyse movements, decisions, behaviours, etc... Those insights make 9 min video unbelievable worthy. Thanks 🙏
great content, really good mic quality! very informative video. would be great if you made more videos like this, but on carry players, such as: yatoro, ame and nightfall(epileptickid) ❤
woooow, just wow. please more of this type content, don't forget to cover support hero too like healer type hero that I feel op too. Thanks! I'll wait for another content man!
@@YSM_Dota yeah yeah, I watching it right now. Keep content like this man! this is the best content, because it have depth and yet simple enough to understand! worth to subscribe!
Great video mate, would you do analysis team comps from sidelines from Berlin Major? Supports can be so different this new patch, would be interest to see 1/3 and 4/5 synergies
I'll have a look, its harder to go through Major events because it's the whole team playing perfectly, there will just be so much to talk about. I find it easier (currently) to just help players get better at specific roles. But I'll explore looking into different team comps in the future. :)
Nice video hope you do more safe lane carry videos, im a returning player and hope to see more clearly explained situational details like you did in this video 🙏🏻
Yeah I'll try because I tried watching carry but it's a bit boring to explain, it's just not missing CS and correct farming patterns, but I'll keep an eye out if I see something out of the ordinary
I'm new to your channel. Can you explain how this calibration works? Because i saw a very low rank became Ancient while high ranks going down to legend or archon.
Don't quote me on this but, if your rank confidence is low, you'll be going up and down ranks quite a bit losing/gaining heaps of MMR in the process, once your rank confidence gets to 100% then you'll get a set +/- MMR after that. If you're worried about the lower ranks becoming ancient, it only takes a matter of time before they derank down if they dont belong in the bracket (but if they do belong they'll stay and rank up like normal). Same thing for the high ranks going down to legend or Archon, if they are good enough they'll eventually climb back up. From my experience so far I've played 12 games and I've only lost 3 and my rank confidence is at 7% (its paring me up with Divine 1-5 now?) but its a bit tough for the game because I was 6300 MMR in 2020 and I haven't played a game of ranked since then. Hope this helped thx for listening to my TedTalk. :)
Hey YSM, have a question. Void Spirit is being picked a lot in pro games, in WEU DPC he's 2nd most picked after Techies with 62% winrate. But in pro games the players almost ALWAYS go Echo->Manta. Whereas in this guide (and even still on D2PT) Echo->Deso is still way more popular. What do pro players see as the benefit of building manta on VS?
Yeah I've seen that too, I believe it's because Deso doesn't scale / build into anything so it's kinda a weird item atm RTZ mentioned something similar in his recent stream. Whereas Manta besides offering damage can help you dispel, split push and give a little Ms which is nice too. I've noticed when they do build Manta they usually skip BKB. And yeah I'm working on a techies video atm :) just stopped posting due to a similar creator mimicking my title 😶🌫️
were there any changes about the damage gained from attributes for universal heroes? my VS with the same items at level 1 only has 66 damage. Anyway amazing video! It's criminal you don't have at least a million subs!
not only is void spirit tankier but he's traditionally one of those heroes that needs to be locked down to kill. That is a lot harder when all disables are 25% shorter
8:13 *uses wand on high ground* I have a question - what difference does it make that he used wand on high ground? Can some explain in more detail? Thanks
Yeah thats my bad, I'll try write what i meant by that. its more about Topson using his regen efficiently. During the fight on the low ground he's on strength treds to tank as much damage as possible, but the moment he jumped to the high ground 8:11-8:12 he switches to agi treds, bottles and uses wand. The "Uses wand on highground" should of been "using regen on highground"(both bottle and wand with agi treds) but I'm pretty sure I was tired near the end of making the video so i got lazy. Hope this helped
Did void spirit's damage get nerfed? I tried to test the early game items, 4 ironwood branches and a circlet but didn't get to 75 damage, HP is the same tho
Sooo... with all the new changes... is Void Spirit still a bad pos 1? Just asking because I love this hero (probably in my Top 5 fav) but I hate the mid role :D :(
Yeah I think he's a bad POS 1, just because there are more heroes that can do more damage and be more useful. E.g Faceless Void, Drow, Terror Blade, Sven, Alchemist etc. But as a mid it think Void Spirit can disrupt the fight in a nice way for your team as mentioned in the video :)
Lol I've played the new orge offlane you should try bracer --> treds --> midas --> heart --> str blink --> aghs. Its pretty funny how tanky you are (not liable for any MMR lost, this is just 'fun' build haha)
