We do it because we don't truly believe the seriousness of sin or forget momentarily, and expect grace to cover us. No matter what your mind tries to tell you in the moment, you know I'm right. If a man had a gun to your head and said, "If you act on that temptation, I'll pull the trigger." we wouldn't do it. I'm guilty too. I do see it for what it is though, and I'm working on it with the help of the Holy Spirit. Like Timo said, idle time is the devil's playground. Stay in the Word. Stay active. God bless you all. I’m so happy you posted this. I was born again through the Online freedom. One of the things I struggled is lust. I had to have a strong conversation with myself and a fellow Christian person from my bible reading group. She keeps me in check. I also read the Bible and pray. It is difficult but not impossible and after a while the Lord will show you how more beautiful he is than the world to the point that you no longer desire the world. It’s been difficult but I know I love him and to me is important that I continue to walk in him regardless what comes or even when I fall, to get up and keep fighting, creating ways to honor and serve him completely... Going back to Jesus is the only way.
Jesus set me free from the addiction of pornography. Something that seemed so impossible in my chains. Temptation can creep in from seeing things which requires self control but the compulsive desire to look for that stuff has been removed. Praise Jesus Christ
I was addicted to masturbation for almost five years and God freed me from it. I did a three day fast and God instantly broke it. There still are temptations but God has broken the addiction and he has always given me the strength to overcome! @@pierogi210 I ate no food for three days (only drank water at times). I prayed that God would take away the masturbation and lust and deliver me from it. I would still go about my daily routine but I tried to cut out as much distractions as possible and tried to abstain from sin. Fasting is not just about denying food but denying pleasures that feed our flesh and replacing those things with seeking Christ. I tried to avoid everything secular such as watching movies, entertainment, and playing video games and replaced it with praying, reading the Bible (Luke 4:2-4), and watching videos that taught me more about God (which we should do on a daily basis anyways). This discipline helps you to have more self control and gives you a higher likelihood of overcoming temptations to sin. And it also makes it easier for God to burn the impurities of lust out of you because you are denying yourself and submitting to Him (Mark 9:25-29). And you MUST hate the sin. You must hate the sin enough to want to fast against it. You must hate the sin enough to cry out to God that He will deliver you. If someone still likes it and has a tolerance for it and isn’t grieved when they do that sin, they won’t get delivered or they will get delivered but then go right back (John 5:14, Luke 11:24-26). So it is very important to HATE it! And don’t tell people that you’re fasting (see Matthew 6:18). Only let it be known if someone is constantly bugging you about it because of concern or if God tells you to let it be known as a testimony to give glory to Him (as I’m doing now). Love ya! For me I was set free when I reckoned upon the truth by the revelation of the Holy Spirit that Jesus set me free from slavery to sin. The truth of the freedom Jesus brought was powerful. Porn was easy after this but sexual addiction did take a little longer. The last time I was tempted to satisfy my sexual addiction Holy Spirit said if your going back to what I’ve set you free from I’m leaving. From that time I have not returned to the darkness.

Jesus Saved me in 2018, but He helped me when I counted the cost ... when I was ready to surrender my entire life to Him. Coming to Him with your whole heart means to be prepared to lose everything you have. He needs All of you to reshape you and he wont force you into it. It's a very very hard message indeed, but the truth sets us free. Maybe those plans you have for your life need to go too, are you prepared to give those up? (doesn't mean they have to go, necessarily - that's between you and GOD ... but you should be willing) To me, this is where you heart must be if you truly want REAL deliverance. I sometimes struggle to make sure that I count the cost DAILY and put GOD first every day. So ... I'm not perfect and do not want to be a hypocrite. I was like the prodigal son (daughter in my case) and years ago I literally had a conversation with God where i told Him to leave me alone because I was tired of feeling guilty of all the drugs and things I was doing! None of my friends seemed to have a conscience and I didn’t want one either. Just typing that brought me to tears, I cannot believe I told my Creator to leave me alone!!! I was far gone and the enemy had his grip on me... well, God certainly left me alone and I went from bad to worse.... but there were times even then that He kept me safe... ended up homeless on the streets of Fort Lauderdale back in the 90s and after running from God and having it my way for years I had had enough and I sat down and told God I GIVE UP and begged Him to help me. Told Him I surrender! Do with me whatever He wanted because I was tired...and I’m telling you I know for a fact at that moment there was a celebration in heaven and the next morning it was literally like a cloud had been lifted and the world just seemed brighter...slowly my life started coming together, I met my now husband of 20 yrs and in the passed 3 years I have become so close to God I don’t know how I ever breathed without Him.... just surrender! Just tell him you’re sorry and truly repent and heaven will rejoice for you too! And He will remove all the sin and pain... I had to pray off some demons and break some curses but He led me to everything I needed. He is sooo good and faithful and He’s there just waiting for us to ask for His help. I’ll pray for you!

No it´s the wrong way, you are confronted with pornography anywhere in this world, even in normal films, advertises aso. You have to rebuke it, even if you would manage to get near it anymore you still would have lustful eyes after other women than your wife.
I have 6 months of being porn free thanks to God I couldn’t do it without him but now the demons attack me in my dreams but like you said rebuke it before I hit the pillows I tell God I don’t want to dream about it I don’t want to think about rebuke it in the name of Jesus and it works I have like 2-3 days of not dreaming fantasy it’s a lie of the devil and it’s very dangerous for our soul it’s lust and adultery Rebuke it every time and it will go away with your faith 🙌🏻

I was so close and I stayed with god and I stayed away from things like this. And I was almost away and for about a month. But I got these thoughts and they got the better of me. And I failed again. How can Jesus forgive me.

Roman 6 about Baptism yes but what paul trying to say in we took baptism we are buried with Christ. Baptism can’t save us it’s Ephesians 2:8 we have to take baptism because it’s Lord commandments. We received Holy Spirit when we confessed with our mouth Jesus is LORD not after baptism. With Jesus besides Robber was crucified and he didn’t took baptism and still went to paradise but again don’t think we are free to do not take baptism no it’s Lord commandments we have to. Baptism is just confession of our faith to world that we are now follower of Christ that’s it. After time past with walking in Christ people are lost in world and faith and perform sins in their not because they enjoy it but because there spirit is strong but body is weak. We have to give charge Holy Spirit to our Body as well than we can walk in his will. Righteousness man falls 7 times but rise again. We lose many battles but never give in Lord. Flee from immortality close those platform trying to trigger your mind and distract you from Lord only Holy Spirit can lead you to Christ and you can’t stop immortality without help of Holy Spirit.
