As an ex vegan with a child that had debilitating eczema (couldn't function as a "normal" child): Side effects of going vegan: PMS, infertility, B12 deficiency, leaky gut, increased aggression, acne, eczema, miscarriages, poor wound healing, heart disease, and on and on. Humans are hyper-carnivores - meaning we ate predominantly meat for the majority of our evolution. Please take of yourself and eat meat! Also, less animals are harmed when you eat meat, especially if they are on regenerative farms, than monocropping for vegan foods.

The “monocropping” of “vegan foods” are demanded and eaten by all people on any diet. Everyone eats almonds..the soy that’s grown is given to the animals you eat..that’s where they’re getting their nutrients from.

We kill 50 billion animals per year, most of them cruelly to one degree or another. Would you walk into a factory farm and spit your "facts" in all their tortured faces? Veganism killing more animals than 50 billion per year is a beyond delusional claim. I eat meat but admit it's morally untenable. You're clearly invested in justifying what you know to be immoral. You must have some twisted goodness in you that I don't share. You care, deep down, and that's a good thing. You need to make your immorality okay with yourself, whereas I don't. I can imagine well enough what it's like to be genetically modified into an abomination and immobile in darkness for my short life, knowing nothing but pain and fear as normality in my 10inx10in prison consuming garbage and being pecked at by one scared neighbor while listening to the howling of the other. I'm not vegan because I'm not punished by society for putting my superficial petty joy above swaths of other lifeforms with the same right to life that I have. But at least I don't lie to myself about it. You at least care enough to play these games with yourself, so you have me beat, at least organically. Congrats. Enjoy that Chick-Fil-A and your tasty 'reasons'.

Source?

@@plantbasedmami My experience, and curing my daughter. However, the only evidence you need is there is no plant source for many of the nutrients we need. Plants do not contain B12, plants do not contain K2, plants do not contain retinol, plants do not contain heme-iron (the form we as humans absorb) - these are well established, irrefutable facts that humans cannot survive on a vegan diet - meat is required to live. We evolved has primary meat eaters - "The fossilised bones of Neanderthals (Homo neanderthalensis) contain different forms, or isotopes, of nitrogen- nitrogen-15 and nitrogen-14. The high ratio of nitrogen-15 to nitrogen-14 found in Neanderthal bones is similar to that found in the bone collagen of modern-day carnivores such as wolves. This indicates that the Neanderthal diet included a large amount of meat and little plant material." - australian.museum/learn/science/human-evolution/how-do-we-know-what-they-ate/ Have you looked into plant anti nutrients? Oxalates - kidney stones, eye crusties when you sleep, vulvodynia, arthritis, ... Phytic Acid - binds to key nutrients such as iron and prevents absorption Lectins - proteins that are not deranged by stomach acid that can travel along the vagus nerve Also, compare the size of our cecum to herbavores and carnivores and you will see where we sit. Here is human vs rabit, look at the cecum (which houses our gut bacteria for fermentation digestions, we call it an appendix) i.pinimg.com/originals/00/5a/39/005a39a19b963e6259a897ffd26025d0.jpg I wish you well on your health.

It's nice that you're looking into these things and it's helped you. However I can see a clear bias for plant based foods and I would love for you to post these studies. The sexual satisfaction study is likely comparing vegans to people who are overweight and eat a processed food diet. Likely nothing to do with meat nor testosterone (I would argue the contrary hormonally, there are nutrients in meat you can't get in plants). You're taking a lot of studies from the Stanford research which is heavily funded by plant based meat. There's a clear conflict of interest there.

There is the question of nutrients like Choline, DHA, Vitamin K2 or B12. Where are you getting these nutrients from, as a Vegan? Because they either don't exist in plant foods or are in very low quanitites, if they are even bio aviable for humans, which most often isn't the case. So you need to supplement them as a vegetetarian, even more important as a Vegan. So the question ist, how can one claim a diet in which you have to supplement nutrients can be considert healthy/healthier, than a diet where this isn't necessary?

For all those reasons, I really want to try being vegan for about a month problem is i dont even know where to start. Do you have any tips for someone to baby step into it gradually? Im not sure how i will do on it but its worth a 30 day trial. By the way you are so cute 💖 love your smile :)

It's weird you'd think a species of omnivores would need a balance of all foods(something I learned in elementary school) but this rambling with no sources really combats both evolution and science so I guess you're right 😅😂 fool❤

@@plantbasedmami"every source is cited... If you need help ask someone to read the text to you" Your first scource is where you cited a study as "Study". It would seem you might need help on how to cite sources. We cite them by their name (title) rather than a listing of what kind of thing they are.

@@slycordinatori included the scientific body who published the research I describe as text overlays throughout the video.

@@plantbasedmami What I'm saying is that when citing a study (or book, speech, video, poem, etc), we include both the author and the title (and more, but these are the main important ones).
