Speaking of crowd work… Kobato (red flower) hosts a mini-comedy show mid set! 😂 It used to be just her doing her Maid Cafe style Magic Spell Time but in recent times, as the others have gained confidence, they’ve all participated at one time or another.
In my opinion their most joyful song and performance to that point in their careers - their fun times continue, though this one stands the test of time.
The Maids performing one of their (two) most performed songs: Freedom and Real Existence. But the Maids in this MV are pure perfection, aren't they? I mean, what can you fault? And those faces... their attitude... their music... their playing... their story... and their joy! Band-Maid is a world treasure, imo! Thanks, Th3, for bringing the world's best hard rock band to your viewers!
Great reaction and this song is the soul of Band-Maid, fun, happy and full of smiles. This concert was a two day event (sold out both days - about 2K capacity) on Feb. 13/14, this was sadly their last live show until 2022. They had been on a roll up until that point, gaining more exposure, getting larger gigs (this show was their largest at the time), and gaining for fans. The one bright spot was during the covid lock down was a lot of new people watched their video on YT and became fans and now they are growing larger every day (thanks to reactor such as yourself - new sub).

You've stumbled upon my very first Band Maid experience ! It blew me away in 2021 and I've been hypnotized ever since . The best Rock & Roll I've heard since the 1980's and in my top 3 Bands of all time ! ❤️🔥🕊️
This song is my introduction to the Ladies of Band-Maid. Many years ago my daughter asked me to watchba Baby Metal MV and I was like ehhhhh. Not my style. But after that YT kept recommending Band-Maid to me. I figured they were just another manufactured group with no real style. I figured they were like the boy bands from the 80's and 90's, so I kept ignoring them. UNTIL... I forgot to turn off auto-play one day. I got up, loaded up my computer and started going through my subscriptions. I loaded a video and was getting ready to watch it when the cats and dogs started fighting in the other room. I got up to deal with them and put the dogs in their kennels and went back to my room to hear this song playing. I was like "That sounds good", so I sat down and restarted the video. I watched it at least a dozen times, my smile getting larger and larger with every replay. I saw up in the corner the next song recommendation was their song "Onset". I clicked on it and from that moment on, I became a Band-Maid fan. I have downloaded almost every MV, concert, song and everything else I can find of theirs. And I budget every month so I can legally purchase their entire discography. If everything goes right by the time their new album comes out this summer , I will have their entire discography on CD.
Amazing story! Yes, "The Gap" is doing a disservice to the Maids, at least in the West. Many potential fans ignore them because they LOOK LIKE they are some stupid idol band with no real substance. Of course, when people HEAR them, they stop caring about their looks, but the initial barrier is pretty high.
@@Th3CakeIsALIE You should also know that BAND-MAID does purely instrumental songs. Two are officially available on their channel: "from now on" MV and "onset" live. And they are mind-blowing.
