I am finally back home and settled in Southwest Ohio. I wanted to get out and do a homecoming float on the Great Miami River and she did not disappoint! After a tough morning bite with missed opportunities on big smallmouth, the afternoon bite was much better and these two lures accounted for some absolute river units! The Nikko Baits 4.25 inch Hellgrammite and the 6th Sense 5" Trace are my favorite combo for Summer Smallies and this was a perfect example of those two crushing it for me here in July.
