Is there realy a "point" in anything in the game? It's not like you can "win". Everybody makes their own fun. Sometimes at the expense of other people's fun =D
yup. Public servers are full of toxic shit heads that can only have fun by ruining yours. The way to avoid this stupid shit is by building a landing gear, lock it to the ground outside of the barrier, and have pistons built from the landing gear extend your ship into the zone.
You gotta spread them evenly across the pitch and roll axis if possible. Maybe a few extra for yaw. Placing them bunched in one spot is very in efficient
Safe Zones in games are such a perfect example of the mentality that Safe Spaces create. Without fail they only create the opportunity for the dishonest and manipulators to mess with people without consequence.
Sadly, some people feel that ALL facets of life, even games we play to relax and have fun, should be PvP. Such people tend to spend a lot of time alone because nobody wants to deal with their crap anymore.
@@Comicsluvr The default state of things will always be anarchy. It is only from anarchy that organization can arise. Safe zones are an inelegant and, quite frankly, lazy solution to a problem that didn't exist. If you want safety, you buy it with bullets. You buy it with faction reputation, contracts, treaties, alliances, bounties and repercussions for unprovoked attacks. Things are far more interesting when you know that everything that goes up is capable of coming down. Safe zones are just basically magical forcefields that were implemented in leiu of developing any actual other interesting mechanics that actually fit within the theme of the game.
