I watched Jaws send it down el toro without even wearing a helmet Tony is just weak lol jk if you feel the need to wear one do so but, don't tell others how to risk their lives because gear or not that's what they're doing and if they're more comfortable without it that's probably best because being stiff, cramped and sweaty is not what I want when my life depends on my focus. Street skaters are the really cool ones anyway ;p
that and he has glove to do this they have pucks in the hands that you can use to turn shraper and slide ive done it too it's super cool to hit 100 on a longboard it's supper sketchy 1 rock with through you off fckn easy
I used to have a long board and the wheels on those things eat pebbles. Most people associate them with skateboards where it is instant death but nah it would have to be a sizable rock to take him out.
Amazing skating skills, keep it up champ! But health is more important you know. Do keep urself protected if u may fall and injure urself so we can watch more of ur amazing skating skills!❤
Just wait until he hits a skid that takes all the skin off his back. He gonna be down for a minute. I hit gravel on a CBR1100 and only skidded for about 10 seconds across the pavement. It took the skin off my palms, elbows, knees, back and hips. I had on jeans and a t-shirt. Painful recovery when half your back is a scab.
Everyone is talking bout getting hurt and that protective gear is cooler than being in a wheelchair but WHY AINT NOBODY TALKIN BOUT HOW FAST HE WAS GOING YET DIDNT FALL??? ITS TALENT♡
@@best_pilot_Osama I probably could have worded it better but my point still stands dont risk injuring yourself for some false sense of importance the most famous skateboarder ever is known for his reinforcement that people should wear safety gear because of how excessively dangerous it is not to do so.
@themangoartificer882 that's true that's true but it is impressive tho I have a skateboard and I've been riding it for 3 yrs without protective gear because personally the gear just makes me more unstable and uncomfortable.
The scary part isnt really the case of the dude wiping out or riding into traffic. Its the fact that some poor soul may eventually wreck this kid in their car, will have to live with that, and there will most likely be some desperate lawyer willing to try to fight to jail them for it.
Smart is an ironic word. Do what you love, obviously, but the helmet is only going to protect the head somewhat. It's not going to protect a launched fall over the side, the rest of the body against the pavement, or against an oncoming car
Alr three things 1)This song>>>>>>> 2) protective gear honestly looks cool asf 3)either way ur cool, doing anything with wheels without even knee pads takes guts fr. Just dont get too badly hurt
To the younger audience, i have torn ligaments trying to do this stuff. Recovery takes a long time and you dont want to waste warm weather with an injury. Just wear protective gear its cool for you and your buddies
I had a bad spill on a longboard 8 years ago that put me in a coma for two months with a Traumatic Brain Injury. Had to relearn how to walk, talk, eat and drink, and even breathe again since I was on a respirator. I'm not fishing for pity or sympathy, I'm just telling my story to encourage people to be safer and wear a helmet when doing something risky. Yea, a helmet may look stupid sometimes, but it looks a lot cooler than wearing a tombstone. Have fun out there but be safe!
Ngl, I tried doing insane stuff without gear and it feels better somehow. I love the adrenaline and the risk of getting hurt but once I'm done I feel alive. But I understand the protection of wearing gear at every extent
As a former down hill long border, he’s wearing all the gear he needs. Personally I’d recommend some knee pads, but he’s got slide gloves and helmet on, he’ll be alright
People are always worrying about his safety or commending his bravery, but have you thought of the athleticism this man has as well? To control his body and that longboard so flawlessly at such speeds is phenomenal
As someone else who longboards, hate to break it to some of u but it's not as easy as hes making it look, takes years of practice and skill, hes incredibly good and is controlling the board really well, epically when hes turning
Even a monkey falls out of a tree every now and then. All it takes is one mistake wether it’s of his making or not 😅 You can’t just not wear a helmet and suit when you’re racing because you’re the best at it and never get into accidents. That’s just not how it works. It’s good for flashy videos. But it will be very painful if not fatal if he’s unlucky when he falls going that fast.
Lad i reccomend wearing protective gear, especially in settings like that. Skateboard accidents are no joke and can end up fatal, no use looking "cool" if itll be in a casket.
I love the intensity, and yes seeing no gear even gets me more excited seeing the risk being taken. But still, some extra gear wouldn't hurt, especially a spine protector, dont wanna lose your legs
Tips: (ik you won’t need this but it will help a little) so I ski and skat and allat. So when you wiggle and wobble your arms your unstable keep them a little more still
Last time I done this i was hit by a cement truck and split down my shin open, didn’t feel it so I was more worried about my damn long board 😭🤣 could see all the bone, veins, everything and it was trippy not feeling it from the adrenaline, when I walked the skin would open wideeee each time, definitely an experience 🤣
@@xxxvader YESSSS was awesome and made amazing memories that night, and because I had to stop walking I hill bombed(went on my longboard down the hill without stopping) sitting on my longboard 🤣🤣
@@SlurryNoises yeah immediately after it happened there’s another steeper hill on the way home and it’s the only way home so I had to hill bomb it sitting down lol
@@pavelle5432yeah, you're right, he should live and protective gear really would help those chances. What's your point? You're saying he can't have fun doing that with gear? Doesn't work that way
I lived in a very flat area for a long time-- get some slide gloves (you don't HAVE to, but they're pretty cheap- Sector9 has a solid set for $25 last I checked) and use a hose/bucket to throw some water on the ground and slide to your heart's content. The wet wheels will kick out super easily. It's not exactly the same, but it's pretty fun if you really don't have any options.
We used to do this roller blading. Your moving so fast you can only steer minutely. One rock or one car and that's the end. And you don't really have time to watch the scenery because you're always reacting to the next turn.
