You can invest in Kenya as a farmer. It all depends on what kind of farming you want to do. Plus, you can lease large tracks of land. Great areas to do farming away from Nairobi with consistent rainfall or water super are Muranga, Nyeri, Limuru, Kakamega, Kisii. These areas are good for farming vegetables and dairy farming. The areas with higher water tables and therefore better access to borehole water are Kibwezi, Kajiado, Isiolo and Nanyuki. These areas are much warmer and drier but good for farming fruits and onions. In the coastal areas you can farm Cashew nuts, coconut products, tamarind and Baobab products. You can look into Bee keeping as well. The prospects with this are great 👍🏽 For large scale farming of cash crops such as wheat, you can look into an area called Narok.
