Well I am little sad because many of the people here treat Indians or South Asians like trash. But again it's the prime God that created different people. totally agree! We have ppl of every colour, every height nd facial features. Ppl in Kashmir (doesnt matter if they r muslim, hindu or buddhists) look Caucasian with hazel green eyes, whereas some in south might look closer to Africans. Ofc the eastern very diff from the western india.

I’m not Indian (not even Asian) but I kinda get secondhand-offended(?) when someone insults Indians. I actually have so many friends who are Indian, and I’ve got to say they’re probably the most beautiful people I’ve ever met, both inside and out. Don’t feed into stereotypes people, because it’s a whole ass disease. There are attractive and unattractive (even though I don’t necessarily think unattractive ppl really exist) of every country, race, and ethnicity. Not to be cliché but the mfs who spend their time bringing down a group of ppl or who target others looks are the most unpleasant looking💀.

Diverse countries like India and Indonesia doesn't have a specific beauty standards. while the east asian countries are more homogenous. You can even find indians who looks similar to japanese, thai,viet or Indonesian.

Thankyou. It seems these videos only highlight the more common side of India despite mentioning they are diverse. You'll never see a North East Indian up on these videos, we possess a lot of Mongolian features and look very similar to East Asian people (I hope I'm correct about the location). More than half of the videos about Indian people feature the mainland state's people. You can almost never find a person from J&K, Himachal, Odissa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and all north eastern states. Very disappointed because they always mention we are diverse but fails to show the diversity they say we are

Oh yes they do. Why are many top stars on the lighter and many almost caucasian in complexion? Many Indonesian stars and celebs are mixed European. If you have dark complexion chance of you becoming a leading men or women is virtually impossible. You're better option is being an entertainer or comedian. But if you ask to our people, mostly they will answer : Sundanese (clear and youthful skin), Minahasan (trendy fashion and look like their neighbour Pinoy) and Minangnese (sharp features). I am Javanese by ethnicity (Northern part) which sometimes resemble as mix Cambodian, Persian, Chinese, and etc as our area was the first migration area (wali songo, chinese sailors, south and west asia merchants) in Java Island

Not gonna lie, the colourism in these beauty standards is pretty alarming and gross. I’m really glad the Indonesian dude chose to highlight the diversity in beauty standards in his country including the darker skinned Melanesians, the attitude of darker is worse in beauty is a global scourge we need to all do more to stand up against in whatever context we find ourselves in!

It's sad that even in India, whose population has always been dark-skinned, there's A LOT of colourism. I can understand why that happens in countries like the Latin American ones; they were once ruled by Europeans, so it's natural that Eurocentric standards prevail to this day. But India is an ancient country, and I'm pretty sure the colourism there predates the British colonisation by far.

Weird how Koreans are perceived as the most attractive. That they all seem to try so hard to fit into a very specific beauty standard makes them less attractive imo; whenever I watch a Korean dorama, I legit have a hard time distinguishing some folks because everyone seems to look the same. I personally would rank koreans the lowest in whole of asia , I’m not being biased , I’m a huge fan of kpop and kdramas and kculture as a whole but the appearance is mid , plus it’s rare for you to actually find people who haven’t had work done to their faces ( 90% people have probably done eye surgery there ) so you wouldn’t actually know what an average korean looks like , and I’m not judging just based on the appearance their manners seem very rude to be irl , they are very judgemental as a society and as individuals and come out as rude usually because they say mean things to your face and later label it as ‘ ignorance and stereotypes’ , I wouldn’t mind if it was just the older generation but when even the younger generations are very stereotypical and don’t get out of their bubble, it’s very annoying to me not to mention they have created’ beauty standards’ for their country which are superficial and hardly any korean can match that standard which already is toxic asf

When I was younger (up until early 20's) I adore SK's look but as I get older (late 30's), I would say I find Indians more sexy and eye candy. I don’t get how they ranked each other in order of most to least beautiful. From a purely objective standpoint, the South Korean woman is the least beautiful. The Japanese and the Indian girl both have very beautiful features. Nice of the guys to automatically sort themselves toward the end of the line, very gentlemanly of them.

Funny is that in international beauty contest, Vietnamese men and women are usually ranks higher than Korean and Japanese men and women. From many experiences I heard from Vietnamese who live in Japan and Korea all said Vietnamese people on the street are more natural good looking than Korean and Japanese they met on the street judging by their faces.

Alot of Indian do have Nordic European ancestry so alot of Indians look similar to Euros with light eyes also being common in some Indian population specially in Northern India.
