At first I thought it was dumb, who needs a bed that big. Then I thought about it. Dude really went all out to accomplish his dream despite the cost and time and effort. He committed to a goal and upgraded his life. Comfort is always worth it.

I’m a relatively tall person so even with a queen size bed I can never really stretch out all the way. While 9 feet is overkill, it’s the best kind of overkill. Laying spread eagle on a mattress, that’s heaven.
All the stray animals are gunna start showing up at your place now. They can smell the amount of extra spots you have on the bed and your impressive ability to afford such a bed means you could get them snacks. I wish you - and your future 9 cats and dogs - a happy and warm life.
As a single who slept longtime alone in an about wayoming king sized bed I got two insights a) there is more to lie on than one get's laid b) if you get used to roaming and reigning over the entirety, you'll become a non-mover on second-hand-boyfriend-market because you move too much.

It’s funny because many Alaskan natives believed in a “family” bed where everyone sleeps in the same bed. Hello -40F!!! So with this bed you can literally do this.
@@aname69420 actually, I lived in the Arctic bush on tribal lands for 20yrs. It actually was the old tradition and some families still keep all their beds in one room. But there is a pattern for state names for beds which is why I thought it funny that the tradition fit as well.

I have a queen size bed (it was a gift, sorta) and I hate it! I use one tiny patch of it. The size is so unnecessary for a single person. I honestly want my twin bed back.

I’ve never heard of these beds after California King. I’d sometimes wonder if basketball players has to have special beds made/ordered. Now I know. Now I wonder if hotels keep them in storage in case an upper-sized person checks in?
I've never thought about that but now that I do all I can think of is Shaq having to stay in different beds while traveling during his playing days. Like did he have such top tier hotels that they'd be able to accommodate his incredible height or did he just sleep in normal human size beds with the bed just ending at his knees 🤣

Wife and I always struggled financially never quite made enough when we were young. After 3-4 years I locked up some really good legal side hustles. We got stable and ahead. When we up-graded beds we bought the Alaskan so on Sunday mornings the wife and all 3 kids could snuggle together and not be crowded anymore. A lot of memories made on Sunday mornings.!
We havebhad the same bed sonce we got married. Now 4 kids later, it's time to upgrade. It would be nice to snuggle my babies without falling out of the bed.

I got the same size, but my room seems like it's a lot smaller. My room is pretty much all bed, and like 2.5 foot walk ways on two sides. Also I have to use a wall mount for my tv, no dresser.. everything fits in the closet.

I literally have a bed this same size (inherited it from my grandparents) and I can confirm: It IS that good to own it. My 5ft1 self feels like a kid in it
I can't take 10 minutes to get out of my bed in the morning, the denial and procrastination already takes enough time without adding the journey to the edge
@@chiarrafiore3386 it’s about 32 square inches smaller 🙂 which isn’t very much, but it is definitely smaller than a King. Obviously the length makes up for it for some people though.
