In January, I travelled to Morocco to film the campaign for the launch of the much-awaited Toyota Land Cruiser 2024. It felt truly surreal to see this car before it hit the roads - we were driving an actual prototype down the endless trails and into the Sahara desert of Morocco! So wild.
This film would not have been possible without the hard work of an incredible, international production team. Adi, Hugo, Alex, Nathalie, Gador, Sergio, Tom, Nouredinne, Yousef, Anke, Mihaela, Laurin, and everyone else - THANK YOU. You were an absolute dream team and I'm so grateful to have met all of you. I love this. Your piece fit nicely with Toyota's video. When I was young, I dreamed of owning a Toyota Land Cruiser. In more recent years, I would have settled for an FJ Cruiser. I never got to buy either one, but I do have an old 6-cylinder manual transmission 4x4 Toyota Tundra (210K miles and counting!), and I've taken it out many times into the rough Mojave Desert. It has dents and scratches all over, and the paint is coming off, but it runs...and I love driving it. The truck has been very reliable for well over two decades. I will continue driving it until it falls apart, which, hopefully, won't be anytime soon! (David E. Miller, Las Vegas, Nevada)

Gotta say, Toyota taking real adventurers on tour with the new wheels was a smooth move, and definitely made the commercial authentic in a way that hits home. Even though there is some staging and controls involved, it really stands out from other car commercials that try to send the same message. Brilliant, all around.
